Went scouring for the best male cover and after looking at about 12 I like this one the most. - This one isn't a male pitch change (I mean seriously the backup singers get so low and quiet I don't even know what they're saying anymore) - It doesn't go over the top, like there are covers by good male singers but they go so extra and that's very counter to the songs theme. Meg is trying to deny her feelings, so a dismissive tone and flat delivery are integral to that song. I got all these other dudes with vibtrato for days all up in my shit, like relax, it's not supposed to be a triumphant song. - The rest sounded goofy. Also yours was the most unique, I found it departured the most from the original without going in crazy over-the-top territory I already mentioned. Well done.
