Clear! They are gorgeous! Yellow is very Spring. No help here. Ha! Silver is beautiful!
Silver looks good! Thanks for the inspiration!❤
Love them, the blues my favourite❤
They’re so pretty, silver makes them look like winter/ and yellow summer, I love them ❤
I didn't think it was an error, lol. They are beautiful. I ❤ the placements of your flowers😊. I am learning so much from your videos.
Thanks so much 😊
They are very pretty, I like the way you arranged the flowers in the coasters. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊
Thank you for explaining. I cant wait to try on my wedding flowers.
Your composition of the flowers was really well done 😊
Oh thank you!
Yellow for sure, or a light blue for the sky
those turned out NICE
I preferred them CLEAR also...
I was all for clear until I saw the finished product. They are on a whole different level..love them.
Love these. Yellow back ground
Light yellow looks good
I really love the clear and would let your table cloth color show through! Your flower placement is perfect!
Oh thank you!😊
Thank you for sharing ❤️💋
For some reason I feel a kinship to you and your Art , love it 😍
I like them clear but I also like the silver.
Yes liquid latex works awesome
🎉Love 💝 them, clear. That way it shows the color of cloth beneath. 😊
Silver was georgous.
Love them! The background music... not so much. I mute the music but then I miss when you talk. I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings bc I truly love your channel.
That was literally one of my first videos #27, I’m now in the 600’s. I’ve learned a lot.
@ that's probably why I noticed it so much. You rock!
I’m with you
I like all the color choices!
beautiful work!
by the way to stop them floating - try putting a very shallow layer of resin first. let it set about 70% so it's still reallys sticky then press your flowers onto it - then pour again :) no floaties :)
My favorite is the blue one.
They turned out beautiful
Michelle the coasters are fantastic!
I like them clear
I LOVE THEM! I'M A FREAK FOR FLOWERS ANYWAY! THEY'RE SO YOU WITH THE GLITTER! I MEAN THEY ARE FOR YOUR DINING ROOM 😅😅❤❤
Love the clear
They are beautiful
Thanks 😊
They look Amazing
I like the clear
Gorgeous!!! I love them, great job. Would've left them clear though. I love the floating appearance & they're more neutral...for any room.
You could have done a very light blue background to look like the sky. Gorgeous job! 😍
Clear. So nice and clean
The coasters are beautiful.
Just beautiful!
They are beautiful
Beautiful they look amazing❤☺
So beautiful!! Thank you for explaining everything in such detail. Today I tried making a resin project and was so discouraged, after seeing your video I’m going to try again. Thank you so much❤
You can do it!
I do like the clear . They are beautiful.
But now I see the yellow background, I do like that .
Nice choice! I love the silver!!!
These are so lovely! I'm doing a square one for a frame & need an opaque background to hid the adhering tabs. I first thought I'd have to fill the mold with white epoxy then add the flowers. This a much better way. Perfect video for learning this! 💮🌻
Wonderful!
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 how many ounces of part a and how many ounces of part B to make the resin do you pour each?
Measure your mold with water first to see how much resin you need. Say you need 6 oz, then do 3 oz of each part if you are using a 1:1 ratio resin.
Love those coasters!
They needed the glitter verynice
Either way would be beautiful. Clear would show the color of whatever table cloth you're using, or the wood of your table. You can make more sets a different way to show that the possibility is really endless with art. You did a great job.
I will be making 4 more next week, stay tuned!
Clear are gorgeous
They are stunning. Thank you Michelle.
I love them. You have so much talent
Thank you ☺️
Those flowers are wonderful. You do lovely work!
Thank you so much 😊
They are so beautiful.❤ Clear.
Thank you so much Michelle.
You are so welcome
Beautiful work, thank you for sharing hope you are doing well 🌺
Thank you! You too! ❤️
I have like a million questions!! These are beautiful! 1. How do you store the “leftover” flowers ? 2. What was the purpose of the latex? 3. What do mean domed? I would think if they were domed they wouldn’t work well as say a “flat coaster.” 4. Could you have poured a thin layer allowed to get sticky then put the flowers down? 5. Why did you choose to lay the flowers face up? If placed face down, I think I could pour a back on more easily. Annnnd lastly these are just gorgeous! I was thinking you could’ve put a different color for the back of each one!
Wow ! Ok 1. Flowers are stored in a plastic bag in a tupperware container. 2. Latex was to keep any accidental drips from ruining the opposite side (in case I "overfilled" the top coat. 3. Domed just means you fill to where it looks like it comes higher than the mold without breaking the surface tension. 4. You could have placed them facing down as well but I wanted to be able to see the exact placement for the finished product. Thank you so much for watching!!
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 wow thank you so much!! I can’t wait to try this!!
@@JustConfused_24-7 I'd love to see them!

I'm so glad!
I’m new to resin and I’ve done the exact same as you. Next time I’ll put a thin layer of resin, the flowers let it cure then fill up
Pretty
I just love them!

Stunning!

Clear
Gorgeous
They look great as is! Can you tell me how to remove the overflow resin from the sides of the coasters?
I use an exacto knife or deburring tool, then a nail file to smooth it down.
Theyre beautiful
Pale Lemon would look best.
Beautiful!
Your coasters turned out great. You didn’t put any latex on the edge of the coasters. What if the dome coat spilled onto the edge? I’ve been working on this same project this week so your video answered a lot of my questions. Thanks
You should do that if you’re not comfortable top coating, but I’ve done soooo many I’m not too worried about it anymore.
They're beautiful as they are. No colors!!! Maybe a gold border???? I would have made the first layer really thin, just to anchor the flowers. Or even dabs of UV resin cured with the hand held UV light. I have also seen people paint the flowers with resin. Daniel Cooper has a good tutorial on dried flowers.
Love it, I made making these one of my summer projects. I grow cut flowers and am wanting to find new and different ways to preserve the flowers. I am a bit confused on the latex. is it just so none of the resin pours over edge? How do you make sure that they are even since they are coaster and we don't want them to wobble.
the latex was on the bottom just in case of any drips that would come over the edge. Then you peel off the latex. You can also tape them with masking tape as well you dont have to use the liquid latex. That's awesome that you can do your own flowers!! I wish I could but I dont have a green thumb... Thanks for watching!
Beautiful
Very pretty! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Hi! They came out absolutely gorgeous! Can you please tell me where you purchased your molds?
Here’s a link to them amzn.to/45qcSUR
Clear
So beautiful! by my questions you will see that I'm a real beginner; why did you use liquid latex instead of tape? why did you put your liquid latex underneath instead of on the rim? for the first coat, why didn't you use UV resin instead of regular resin that you have to wait 12 hours or so ? ( sorry for my bad spalling, I'm french Canadian) thank you for sharing and have a great day !
I used latex just to show how it’s done you can use tape as well. If the resin spills over it drips from underneath so that’s what I wanted to protect. I don’t use UV resin for top coats on coasters because it not only uses too much it also doesn’t cure as nice that large. Thanks for watching 😊
Silver on blue
Yellow
Great tutorial thanls
Perfect!
Hello! 🤗 The coasters are beautiful, the blue is amazing. How do you do so that humidity does not affect the hardening of the resin?
I keep the house at 77 degrees, I'm in SW Florida
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Thank you!🌸
Nice video! May I ask why you don't seal in the silver paint along the rim? Won't that chip off?
It can rub off, yes, and it can be sealed in I just didn’t do it 😑
Total newbie here. Why did you spray the top with alcohol? Thanks.
I use 99% alcohol to pop bubbles so I don't have to torch or use a lighter to pop them. The alcohol will pop them and then dissipate.
