This book has been on my shelf for a minute but now I'm bumping it up on the TBR. Thanks!

    Just finished the books today!
Didn’t like the audio narration as much for book two.
Felt very similarly to you about all the things. Book one is SO good though. Thankful for your vlog for the tip about this series

ooh useful to know - my wife is an audiobook person so she'll probably be listening to the second one soon

Okay.. She's on the TBR now. Sounds like a good next book for me. I'm almost done with the summer that almost melted everything by Tiffany McDaniels. The devil comes to town one summer in the form of a young boy named Sal. It's very underlineable.

I stopped this video part way through because, after you described the premise and used the magic words "queer author", I decided I need to read this series and mounted my handy mobile steed to head for The Wish List (of non global evil doers types).
Also I need some fantasy fix before September when the next bone shard book is due out. Why, Judith, why? I was happy with my rubbish charity shop murder books and now you have me reading all the modern stuff where I have to wait for sequels to be written! 😜 (Just kidding - I love it!) xxxxx

I love the Sandman Slim series. It's set partially in hell.

I loved 1, purchased 2 and was very dissapointed due to the predicatable transparent main storyline and odd character arcs that i feel are quite random. I wont buy book 3 and need something new now 🙁
