I loved the Eagles. In my early music career I sang and played piano in piano bars starting in 76. This is one of the songs I did. You do the song justice.

Hello my friend .. I only recorded the lead and harmony vocals .. I always update my notes to point out what I do. I played this song for years and I know the parts pretty good. However, I just used a backing track for this cover (My studio is too small for a set of real drums) .. For most of my covers I use backing tracks but sometimes I do all the instruments.. For my own songs, I always play my instruments, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards etc, along with some great musician friends who help me out.. I just do solo gigs now and not too many. I usually play (two) one hour sets, which all consist of half my own songs and half covers. It is much easier to use my backing tracks for both. I played in bands for years, but I now play the songs I want to play and do not need to play stuff that I don't fancy anymore. I hope you and the family are doing great .. Peter.

I played as a boy with my brother, I played live only on a few occasions in my life but then for years (too many years) I left the guitar (I played occasionally with some friends) because life took me on other paths... now I've started playing again for 4/5 years and I've started writing my own songs, I have a lot to write in my head and I will ! I played in bands for years, but I now play the songs I want to play and do not need to play stuff that I don't fancy anymore. I hope you and the family are doing great .. Peter.
@ thanks for the explanations Peter, I'm always very interested to know how musicians work! I played as a boy with my brother, I played live only on a few occasions in my life but then for years (too many years) I left the
guitar (I played occasionally with some friends) because life took me on other paths... now I've started playing again for 4/5 years and I've started writing my own songs, I have a lot to write in my head and I will ! I'm just sorry I can't find a band to enjoy playing live! greetings to you and your family!!
