- One of our favorite spots to ride!!! A nice cold morning start in north Philly March of 2018. This place is awesome with a lot of rocky technical decents and climbs! We do a 20-24 mile ride around the Wissahickon river with about 2500ft elevation! this first vid is the west side of the river starting from W Bells Mill road ''Monster to Medows trail'' climb up down to the Lincoln drive path.. This place is beautiful! And when your done with this ride hit up Lennys hoagies they are amazing!!!!
great video--this is my regular ride spot. Love it when others see how incredible this place is!
I see this is tagged as an advanced trail. I'm not a super beginner but haven't done anything like this before. Is it possible to take it easy and still enjoy it? I want to challenge myself, but also still have fun.
Michael Parzyck Wiss has it’s all ..good elevation, rocks, technical bits some flow and just beautiful landscape..it would definitely be a challenge for a beginner I would think.. most of all if you go to wissahickon be real carful where you park and lock doors they like to open or smash windows there and steal your shit seen it plenty of times place sucks for that reason and i never seen any police patrol anywhere there
Can a hard tale handle most of the trails i have a Trek stache 5
Yes I've ridden a hardtail for years at Wiss.
Love the channel...keep on exploring the east coast

🤟🏼
this park is nice af i am going to try soon for sure
Urban Dropper wissahickon is one of my favorite places to ride! It’s very technical and Rocky tho might be a little tough on a hard tail
Thanks...I had just asked you guys if a hardtail would be a bad decision... You just answered my question... I'm looking for a bike now! I trust drove a Trek Roscoe 8 -- had a blast, but it was only my first time on a MTB, and, while I had a blast and did pretty well, for being out of shape, I was really apprehensive about the fast downhills --- I think I'd better get a full face helmet, if for no other reason than to make me less "afraid" of going down face first onto a boulder 😱😱😱🤕
These are my home trail, and damn, you guys are booking! Pro tip, there's some really fun stuff up creishem creek that's not really mapped out right now.
Roman S thanks man!! I’m looking forward to try to find and ride creishem creek then ...thanks! 🤘🏻
There are definitely some downhill cut through runs you guys missed that are a blast! Maybe since this video you found some.
That's awesome, guys! I was there Sunday with my Cannondale hybrid quick CX, but, couldn't do much, but had the best time of my life. Went back yesterday (Thursday) with a Trek Roscoe 8 mountain bike that the guys in the shop lent me, cause I'm BUYING one! But, it's a hardtail... You guys, and almost everyone I saw, had full suspension... Is it absolutely necessary? Is have to get a $2500 one, to keep in budget, so it would be an entry level full suspension as opposed to a very good (I think) hardtail... What do you suggest?
I ride hard tail there no problem. The only time I fall a little behind is climbing chunky stuff.
Consider the Canyon Neuron AL 7.0, 2500 full suspension trail bike.
Oh.. Where was that big jump that you filmed all 3 of you in slow motion (where I think one guy broke some spokes)... I wanna try it 😎😎😎😱😱😱😱
Kenneth Sokoloff I’m not sure where to explain it but it right behind some baseball fields
East Coast Singletrack it’s toward the most norther part of the wiss off yellow trail
Actually it’s the southern most part, know as the BMX jump
All I see on the map is yellow, orange, and white Trails. Where is Monster to Meadow?
Tom Knobloch where bells mill rd and forbidden dr path meet is the best I can describe .. you can find easy on Trailforks just download the app 👍🏻
