Dude, I shaved my head this summer after 5 years of thinking about it and watching pros and cons. So glad I did it! I walked in the rain completely bald and it was everything I hoped it would be. I liked the look in the front and sides. I didn't like the back of my scalp but as the hair has grown over the past 2 months, I've enjoyed all of the different feelings.
Why frumpy? Naw, with your eyebrows and what looks like naturally wavy dark hair (?) it looked to me like you arrived at the Italian cut as in Gina Lollobrigida in the 50s (or maybe Ava Gardner or Liz Taylor with shorter hair). Poor me with my fine mousy brown/graying hair - I went too far this last time on the sides so that even my smallest rollers won't work. Oh well, it's only hair.
I feel like people don’t get how fun a pixie is!! I have a face stereotypically wrong for really short hair, but I kept it for 2 years! I dyed it bright red 😄 and it was awesome! People say rude stuff sometimes (old people) but it’s so fun and easy and playful that it’s hard to care? You’re right it’s a different kind of pretty. It’s quite freeing, (men left me alone more, women loved it 🥰). You look amazing and you’re def making me want to do it again!
The short hair suits you so so much! I did the exact same thing like a month before the pandemic hit and never regretted it one bit. My hair is down to my mid back now and it was such a fun journey growing it out too.

When i turned 14 i decided to grow it back, i really wanted to have a long braid. When it grew below my shoulders, it started to tangle like crazy, i was using various products and conditioners to prevent this, and i braided my hair for every night, and i still was endig up with a terrible tangle at right side near my ear. After nine years i had enough, and chopped it down again. What a relief!
this sounds like me! when i was around 8 I chopped it all of but then because of some bulling I started letting it grow, I hate my hair maybe 90% of the time and I've been dreaming of short hair again since for ever. I told it to my cousins and best friend and they all told me to cut my hair, yesterday they came to my place and booked an appointment at my hair salon for me and now I am reaallyy stressing over this, I hope I will love my new hair the same way you guys did !

Pixie cuts interesting hair cut. It does have the ability to define womens faces better, so depending if you already naturally have a older appearance. (Not age), just your faces structure. Can make you appear older but not in a bad way. But if you have a more youngish face. You appear much younger. From my experience having short hair for over 5 years. I always am asked if I’m 19. Longer hair I love been told makes me look older. I love pixie cuts on others. especially when I can tell someone loves it. I think it has a very feminine quality and beautiful dimension growing out. Of course with it’s awkward phases but really that’s just the back of your hair so keep that tidy and trim and your hair will grow beautiful. But definitely take the opportunity to experience all short hair along the way. It was the best decision I’ve made. I been growing my hair for a year now and some change and it’s nice but I do love the versatility of a beautiful short hair cut.
You inspired me! I loved how excited you were after your cut and I wanted to feel that. My stylist cut 33" off and now I've got a short bob/long pixie with a 360 undercut and I'm obsessed with it! Idk why I waited so long to do this. It's so easy to style, I just spray it with water and put the hair where I want it and I'm done. And I can still do little french braid pigtails, they're just like little paintbrush tips! Thank you so much for giving me the courage to cut my hair because I've been fighting the urge for almost 10 years!
I just recently cut my hair into a pixie cut and I have really curly hair, I was very nervous about doing so but my hair was so damaged I decided to take that risk. I’ve been short haired my whole life. When I’m as short as you are, I love to use a curling iron and I watched a lot of curling patterns video. It helps to get that 20s-30s period hair styles! Gel helps at the length you are now to do the finger wave styles. Also, finger curls! When it’s wet, I roll it over my finger and clip it with flat clips, not Bobby pins. I bought them on Amazon. I think I watched The Closet Historian on how she did it. Again it gives the curly, wiggly hair we have a real direction. Soo cute!

Hey listen first of all you have a very beautiful round face you are gorgeous and truthfully you look better with the short hair than you do the long hair and as far as your Agony goes it is a proven fact that some people are allergic to their hair it creates yeah I need to be worse you might find it having short hair your acne clears up and you don't have that problem no more but no matter what you look awesome with short hair I think you're cute as all hell let nobody discourage you cutting your hair was the best thing you could do you look awesome keep up the good work

I love your pixie cut! I've had one, or a version of one since I was much much younger. 🤷 As for waking up with wild hair. I have christened that the " QTip". 😂 You know that one abandoned QTip that gets stick in the drawer at the back and gets all wispy and wild? That's my hair in the morning no matter what I do. 🤷😂 The funny thing is that I've been growing it out for the first time in forever. I think I'm mainly trying to get a longer one. But I'm in the what was I thinking stage of growth. 😂I have really super thick but absolute stick straight hair. So it gets crazy. 😬 Then I remind myself I can always cut it back off. 🤷 I'm gonna stay the course for now. It should be interesting. Thanks for sharing your journey. I just found your channel.
I had covid in May 2020. By July 2020 I was stuffing from telogen effluvium. My hair became so thin I considered shaving my head or a pixie cut but I wasn't brave enough. But here we are in last August 2022 and my hair has grown back and I swear it's thicker than it was before and I still getting little baby hairs from regrowth.

Like, to the point of obsessing and getting so excited at the thought I can't sleep lol I have a few concerns though. I have acne, oily hair, and I don't know how my face will look. I've cut my hair above my shoulders once, the shortest I ever cut it and I did like it. No hesitation. My insecurities about my face are my nose and smile. I looked back at a picture of myself with that hair and I thought my nose and smile just looked weird. (I think I have a bigger nose, but also not? It's not small lol) I'm thinking that a pixie would be more fitting though. Still debating
