I know this video is years on now, but I remember the massive increase in accuracy I got from going from a model 98 to an Autococker. In retrospect though, it should be obvious that it wasn't the marker that massively increased it's accuracy, but I used a little 9oz co2 tank on my Tippmann, and I did the shake and bake hopper, along with a light aluminum barrel. My Autococker used a stainless Lapco autospirit, a gas through stock, a warp feed and a revvy. What happened must have been the fact that I had something to brace against and since it was heavy it was just more stable in my hands. Same thing happened with my shocker 4x4, everyone noticed how it was so much more accurate than my tigershark, but really it was just way more stable in my hands. Turns out the first step in hitting something is in fact aiming at it, not somewhere else.
Great observations, and welcome to the channel! Weight definitely can have a stabilizing influence. Moreover, some markers are simply smoother in cycling, and lighter in their trigger pulls. Thanks for weighing in!
You forgot to mention that the 98 gets his accuracy from high pressure....everyone knows high pressure is the bestest ;) Awsome video, Had a good laugh. Cant wait for the next one. So from what im getting out of this, Or at least untill the next video comes its all down to play style and personnal preference.?
Argh! Good catch. Completely forgot to add the bit about high pressure, and had even made a note about it. Ah, well. Glad you enjoyed it, all the same. :-) And without spoiling too much, given that there aren't any meaningful accuracy differences from marker to marker, it is safe to say that any performance differences are going to be in the way in which the marker interfaces with each particular player, given all the other conditions that come into account. Which explains why some players seem to have better results with certain markers, all other things being equal. Thanks again!
Preach on brotha! I knew something was fishy when when I replaced my first gun, a spyder compact 2k with a SP Impulse and I didnt notice any real difference in their accuracy (smart parts all american on both). So many people bought the garbage hook line and sinker....
Thank you for the kind words, and for weighing in! Probably a lot of people would rationalize your experience to say that if only you had this or that upgrade, the 'true accuracy' would come out, without recognizing that it doesn't work like that. I also suspect that the reason so many people chase after the latest and greatest is because of such rationalizations. Great example, and thanks again!
This was a great series of videos, very very informative. But you left out the true factor in real paintball accuracy. Two words Venturi Bolt. Mic drop and thank you. But I'm serious in saying that this was truly a very informative series of videos, and also very down to earth. Thank you.
Lovely bit of parody, midway through I was beginning to wonder if you'd cover the Autococker trademark "Closed Bolt Accuracy" that WGP ( really Kee action sports as most of the WGP staff had left by this point.) had clung onto for dear life even up till the very end.
I know without a doubt which marker is the most accurate - and my conclusion is from first hand experience mind you. It is the one the professor is holding! Thanks for the video! Loved the disclaimer too.
I can't speak for modern guns, but bitd there was absolutely a difference in accuracy between markers. Especially when you shot fast as the better ones were more consistent. My first gun in the 90's was a Spyder, and there was nothing on that gun that wasn't upgraded as I had spent a small fortune on it. I then bought a Autococker and wow what a difference! Not only did it shoot faster stock but it was a lot more accurate! It would drop paint exactly one after another where I was shooting. If it really doesn't matter then I challenge you to go to buy something like a old Brass Eagle Raptor and go win a tournament.

That was good fun! Thanks for starting my day off with some humor 😁👍
My pleasure, sir! Glad you enjoyed. Was great fun to make.

Thank you very kindly! Much appreciated, and glad you have enjoyed them.

Thanks as always, and glad you enjoyed it. Couldn't let that little gem go unnoticed now, could we? :-)

Glad you enjoyed the video, sir! And I have no idea what you are talking about . . . :-)
! LOL ! consistency is really what matters & should replace accuracy in marketing
Quite right! Thanks for weighing in!

You forgot to mention that your PMI Tracer was the most accurate marker of all time.
:-) Point taken. Good to hear from you again, good sir!
Lol... I play pump, people say, you play pump thats why your marker is more accurate... I said no
I have a automag 68 but don’t know what to do with it what do I do
Why, get it out on the field and have fun with it, of course!
Just keep it lubed an replace oring occasionally and play
