Hi Sari-saring. Thanks for watching! Glad we can help!
Tip# 12 - put your cooler inside another cooler!
Pre-cool the chest by using frozen containers (i use 1/2 gallon milk containers) , fill halfway with water for a while.
Pre- cooling is an excellent idea! Thanks!
My favorite cooler hack is to inject expanding insulation foam from a spray can into the lid. Simply drill several small holes on the underside around the edges of the lid and insert the spray foam's tube into the holes and pull the trigger. The foam will expand throughout the inside of the hollow lid (yes, -most- are hollow!) and actually squirt out the other holes! Be sure to squirt the foam into all of the holes to assure a full lid.
BONUS TIP: Wipe the area around the holes with cheap vegetable oil BEFOE you squirt in the foam so the foam won't stick when it expands and escapes out of the other holes. That stuff is STICKY and hard to clean off!!
I have a plastic tall container that I drilled a few holes in. Set it in your cooler and use this to place your wine or any liquid bottle into. This way when you pull out your bottle, the ice does not cave in. But the cold water enters the vessel through the holes and keeps drink cold.
I've watched a few cooler videos recently doing nice tests I'll use the temperature guns shine them in nice water They'll get temperatures from If 37゚ to 46゚ can't be right you can't celebrate the moments with ice water it's 32゚
Does color matter in absorbing the sunlight?
I don't know if I should buy a blue one or a red one.
Not a knock on you, but against Bezos. All the things you ordered on Amazon you can get at your local hardware store &/or sporting goods store. I might suggest to use solid "pink board" foam insulation inside your cooler. Glue it to the top & add as many or little pieces that you want. And why would I drain the cooler if all of my ice is in water bottles bottles? Lastly, throw some rock salt in your beverage cooler. Salt water is much colder than straight water. Fun tips tho
Stainless steel hotel pan radiates cold ...keeps the melted water cold longer too..
Prechill your cooler a few hours before you put the stuff you are bringing. When you are ready to go remove the older ice and put fresh ice/water jugs in.

Lone the rack tip
What I did was spray paint my cooler white.. This helps keep the cooler cool and does not attract as much heat from the sun...
Great tip- thanks for watching!

Go Utes
I'm surprised she didn't include packages of dry ice as one of the tips....
Your teeth are blinding me 🤣 edit: excellent video
Thank you!
#14 Same idea but protect and smash the bag of ice and cover everything in the cooler with that bag of crushed ice - ice works best on top!
wadded up newspaper will also keep the musty smell out, something in the ink.
Hi Jamie. Thanks for watching and thanks for the suggestion! We really appreciate the new and clever ideas. We have never tried that but we will.
Tip# 637
CLOSE THE LID!!!
Get her some bubble gum it will help regulate the air pressure in her head
I'd rather be bonkers than judgemental. 🤭 LoL
Burying the cooler partially into the sand is a tip I haven't heard mentioning in other cooler tip videos. Addition of salt into ice (think old fashioned ice cream making) is suppose to drop the temperature down further. Has anybody actually tested this out in actual camping situation? Does it really prolonged the ice from melting?
Dumping salt over ice does not prolong the ice, you do it when you have to have a cold beer right now. Wisdom from a former beer drinker.
It must be
The ice will melt and absorb heat faster. Your ice wont last longer, you will just cool the other items faster.
#13 - Fill and seal plastic bag(s) with water for freezing in the right size to fill the cooler bottom so there is no melted ice water in the bottom as it melts.
she's clearly bonkers but these are great tips (Sorry! lol!)
Hi Lee! No doubt about it! LOL
I agree, she kind of scared me a little :) -- a bit too enthusiastic about tips for a cooler. But I did like the idea about the bleach - thanks!
I would say exceedingly cheerful and buoyant, a rare commodity nowadays we just aren't used to.
Ha ha ha! Bonkers in a good way.
Never drain water.
#15 - Same idea but buy small plastic water filled ice cubes. Freeze and sprinkle on top of everything to fill in all spaces with ice nearby…
TLDL: Thank goodness for FF. I prefer videos that get right to the point. Maybe I should stick with TikTok! LOL
#16 - buy a decent roto molded cooler and ditch that cheap walmart one.
Great tips
