Damien Dawn is a German-Polish singer and songwriter (born 1995). Dicovering his extraordinary talent in the field of music at an early stage in life, he was educated at a music school, playing the piano and chello.
Just like the first music video of his girlfriend and partner Anna Blue, the video for his first single „Your Heart“ was created by the oscar-winning animation studio Zeilt Productions in 2010 and instantly received an overwhelming international response, gaining a huge fan base around the globe. The song was meant as a reply to her freshly published song „So alone“, outlining their complicated relationship due to external circumstances at the time.

@@SeinIshamiado Any tips?? it so sad because I tried to forget this person and they weren't able to hang out with me the irony is I even made a song worked on it the whole summer when I couldn't sleep or my mind surfaced to that person I would play by guitar or piano hoping one day to express myself through song we promised we would hang out in the summer the date was set for my house with my other friends . I knew it would make this person cry and so happy and the moment I was done practicing what I created my mom told me the bad news and they weren't going to make it was so ironic it hurt me because I wanted to see that person before my birthday (which was the first day of school)with the rest of the crew their was the pool food band with music we played guitar and at night was star gazing they would have loved it I really looked forward to it but time and fate didn't give us the chance to see each other I yearn for that persons hug (but I wasn't afforded that chance ) I was sad worried and hoped everything was ok but I wasn't ok I just want them to be happy this flower was never meant for me I fell hard into their light warmth and enticed by the sweet smell of kindness ....but I guess it wasn't meant for me I rather see this person happy even If I'm not there I could drown in the sea as long as in the end this person keeps shining even when I'm drowning and falling I wrote a letter saying thank you for everything but I'm not writing to them for a long time but I never gave it I gave them a motivational poem so they keep trying ,I never gave the song I wanted to them and I never will its forbidden anways Idk what I was thinking. I try to forget this person but my bro says they saw the person at my school 20mins after I left my heart fell it hurts and aches I thought I was ok and things were better but the moment the name entered the air I felt hurt to the point where I've realized think about this person makes my heart soo bluee anything which occurs in my life reminds me of this person and I hope they're ok I need my mind off them !!😭😭😭😭😭

... I know the feeling all to well. I fell in love my best friend but didn't want to ruin the friendship so I never told him. About a year after I realized that I loved him he died in an accident. After his funeral his mom found his journal... And she read it. When she was finished reading it she gave it to me and told me I should read it.... He loved me back and didn't tell me for the same reason I didn't tell him. He didn't want to be rejected and lose the friendship. 7 years later and I'm still not over him. And to this day no one knows I loved him. Still do love him...

I've never related to one of your songs more. The first relationship I was trully happy in and understood was my 1st girlfriend.
This girl and I were friends for 2 years before we started dating. Long story short: She was confused about herself and what she wanted. All I wanted was her. She was attending a homophobic school and has homophobic parents. I wanted her to stay but it just wasn't ment to be. I knew it would be best if I let her go.
I still love this girl as a friend and as a person. I'm glad to say there are no hard feelings and we've both moved on. One of my guy friends, who lives like two states away, made a gc with a bunch of our other friends and it ended up showing us what his nicknames for us were. My name had a heart next to it. I asked him about it and he told me to listen to this song. I listened to this song twice (and cried). I kinda liked him too and agreed to try a long distance relationship, but it eventually didn't work out and I broke up with him. I found myself in this exact situation. But my mental state and relationship with the person was getting more and more degraded because there was always something up that she either chose not to pick up on or willingly ignored, and I was suffering a lot of emotional distress and too much shit in my head. I couldn’t keep it under and I lost her..
Hi! Four years later response, but I was also in the exact same situation. I was in love with my high school best friend for 3 years. I didn't want to tell him because I didn't want to ruin my friendship with him and was also in some emotional distress. He didn't realize how much I cared for him in more than a platonic way. Even after couple months ago when I confessed, he still ignored my feelings and I ended up losing him as a friend. I should have kept it under, but I didn't.

It's kinda weird listening to this when I'm so used to Damien's style where there's guitar and percussion and just that rock stuff. I don't know what synth effect or instrument they used to do that cadence at the start (the one that goes boop boop like in that Ed Sheeran song that goes "i'm in love with your body?"). I guess their styles are evolving. This sounds very pop song? But just a liiiittle touch of their usual sound? They're probably experimenting with styles, I reckon.
