The obvious point of reference is of course Manger, and this is very interesting for comparison. This is very fine playing, on par with the Norwegians, but it sounds slightly less coherent. Guess this cements that Szilvay's reading was truly great. Or maybe I'm just biased since I have heard Manger's recording so many times by now. :-)
