That was insane. Talk about a game of two halves. Queensland held on, just, but you have to admire their defence holding NSW out after barrage after barrage of attack. Makes for an epic final. Who do you reckon?
Who will be the ref? QLD had 14 on the field in this game. Many penalties given against NSW were not given to NSW when QLD did the same things with NSW in possession. Same goes for the 6 agains. Qld played well but received a lot of assistance especially early in the game which allowed them to score enough points in the first half. Seems a consistent story in recent S of O's when QLD wins against the odds. However, great defending by QLD near the end to hang on.

Have to agree, don't know what it is but Clearly he struggles at Rep level. If I was picking an Australian team right now I'd pick T Dearden at Halfback. NSW attack at times in the 2nd half was dismal and given it's Cleary's job to steer the team, many times it was non existent.

That game was not a classic. All points dictated by referees to push a decider for viewership and ticket sales for decider.
NSW halves didn't step up when it mattered the most. lots of silly errors and penalties gave qld so much early field position

Maroons play like that again and NSW will put 50 on them, very low IQ game management, constantly invited the Blues back into the game.
Lomax's bad kicking and a dreadful penalty count are the only reason the blues didn't comfortably win this.

Sorry, no way Munster deserved MOTM. He had a very poor kicking game, gave away a penalty on the last tackle and just hogged the ball the whole night. Look elsewhere like Capewell or Dearden.

Turned off after the referee decisions that led to Queenslands first try in giving them repeat sets for infringements he did not penalise Qld for when NSW had the ball. Knew the fix was on to ensure a decider was needed. RL nowadays is a joke with referees and bunker deciding the result rather than the players.

Capewell definitely made an impact. They thought they were comfortable with the lead. If Lomax had converted all the kicks QLD would've lost the series. They just stopped attacking second half
