The world is a sadder place without John.
He's RIGHT HERE.
@@lenalennon8746 That's a good point.
The thing is he was making the World a Happier Peace loving place with the Beatles than as a Humourless protesting solo artist ,with sombre music , then he finally came back with happier music, , and with the humour , it was too late ,
One man can’t change this war involved world , but the Beatles were changing minds , until the Suit money men got involved
He tolerated Yokos .screeching , it was a sort of Vs up , for people not liking her , he became anti fans , who adored him
Same as George , they just didn’t see , Beatles together were better for public change , solo music suffered , because they couldn’t mirror it , no other Beatle to say , that’s not good , you need to better it here and there , all the solo albums would of been better with the Beatles , without the Spectors and couldn’t care less session men
You look at this - and wonder. He would have embraced the digital age. God love and keep you John.
He would've definitely been a vlogger.
He's quite active on the digital front. Check Our many platforms! ❤🎶🎵✌✌🙏❤🎸
He said he wanted to release music like a daily paper just like blogging
The man was an incredible talent
Still IS
@@lenalennon8746 You do know he’s not alive?
What makes me so sad about John's death is that he seemed to rediscover both his muse and his sense of humor after having pretty must lost them for a decade. This sounds distinctly "Beatles-ish" in a way so little of his solo work did.
I'm his muse and he's right here
I totally agree my friend 😢
@@lenalennon8746 what?
It's a good point definetly to some extent cause he said even when Beatles came together at end it wasn't Makin magic so he considered it phony .Like trying to make chicken salad outta chicken shit! Samson got a haircut that's way I see it😁😁
So true!!!! XxxX
He must have been a pretty hilarious guy to hang around with on occasion.
O, you've NO IDEA
Unless he wasn't drunk, yeah
He is a genius. He is one of one. He is with me for a lifetime.
The one and only Mr John Lennon.

If only
I've always loved this song. I love seeing him sing it, and all of his usual gibber jabber between takes is such quintessential Lennon humor! Heartwarming to see! ❤️
I hope this video ends up on the "Double Fantasy" box set, some years from now.
Skvělá písnička, úžasný John ❤✌️😀
So damn beautiful!!
We love you John!
Still miss him after so many years 😢
Like we miss the real Paul. Not many/no one has seen him since 1966.
@Lamisery
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sad sac.
@@scottandrewbrass You got it wrong. You are sad.
Go find McCartney's studio version of Dance Tonight. It sounds very similar in feel to John's demo of Dear Yoko!
what a fantastic strummer john was. RIP
Yes. I was happy to see Paul point it out in his fairly recent Rick Rubin interview, how John really ripped it on All My Loving.
This version is so nice.
LOVE that particularly hirsute look John was sporting in the early part of 1980; that, and the rock-and-roll haircut he got the morning of December 8, 1980…
This video is truly a treasure. Thank you @Johnny Starr. One more thing - If Lennon had changed the title to something like " Oh Jo Jo" (instead of "Oh Yoko") it probably would have been chosen as the the single from Double Fantasy. Highly commercial tune!
I think this is the only film footage of Lennon singing a song from Double Fantasy.
Actually there is a rare video of "I'm Losing You" that John is performing in "Record Plant" that Yoko won't let it be released, I have the bootleg of it.
@@mibeatleman6767 that's interesting. Wonder why she's doing that ?
@@mibeatleman6767 y subilo!!!

BEAUTIFUL VOICE BEAUTIFUL SOUND AS USUAL FROM THE MASTER OF SOUND
Absolutely unique!
Still love John and George who have passed.
Paul is gone too, there is a chance he died but he might have just quit as well, either way he's been gone/out of sight since September 11th 1966, and the guy we're seeing now is an imposter/the replacement William Campbell a.k.a. Billy Shears. Huge deception.
This is miles better than the studio version.
Simply amazing
a sound i hope to hear up in heaven.
You can hear him now just check our many platforms
Fabulous song, love it.
Just 39 years old and lived 10.000 years...
40 not 39 😉

@@temistoclessocratico3310 yes! Sorry!
so funny that he hated his voice on tape but the world loved it !
That's normal though Hendrix was exactly the same, Eddie Vedder can't go on stage without 2 bottles of wine inside him. Many talented artists are very insecure hence why so many drown there sorrows or hide behind substances. Shame but there just people like me and you just exceptionally talented ones.
That’s every singer pretty much
And just 8 months later, he no longer was. Oh oh John, never ever gonna let you go!
Sorprendente documento !! Que maravilla poder observar “la mano derecha” de John. Ritmo constante, contundente, metronómico.
miss you,Johnny!
42 years already.

Por siempre querido John... pasarán muchas generaciones y tú legado permanecerá fresco....
Yeah cracking tune this.... an a cool lil vid of him... hes 1 of the greatest, even though hes prob hate me saying that.. just glad i got 2 c this great man an his music , vision, wit, an love.... rip john lennon.. ✌
Great film
Sounds like Paul McCartneys "Dance tonight"
The muse started to tickle his fancy...the song Jones was on...JL doing a podcast before such a thing.
We invite you to check our many platforms. John is alive and well
He & Cynthia were so young when they married, most ppl would have been divorced in the same situation. Maybe he handled it badly, something he admitted to later in life. He really loved Yoko, how can anyone hold that against them. I think most ppl would have wanted to experience that kind of love in their lives.
But really how could ppl
Fofo demais
Everybody's gonna dance tonight...
It's pretty obvious he had a lot more music in him as did Mozart, both taken far too young
When I'm dead and gone riff
😭
He loved her very much. It was a one-sided relationship.
He scrubbed up well for double fantasy; almost Beatle-like pre 67.Wonder if Paul's cameo on Coming Up inspired the look?
Read "the last days of john lennon" by fred seaman.
He mentions it to fred when they are driving, the song comes on the radio and sings to it and says he cant get it away from his mind, its so catchy
Will have to order this book 😮
I can't tell with certainty that this video is authentic. It certainly sounds like Lennon. But I have heard Lenon impersonations that were just about this close to Lennon. The quality of the video is poor. I'm not making an accusation against the person posting it. I'm just saying I don't know, and I can't tell from the video alone.
Afianço que o vídeo é autêntico. Eu o tenho há 20 anos.
@@observatoriogeral9456 Thank you for clarifying that. It's a nice video.
I bought a VHS copy of this back in the 90's....this looks and sounds identical to that VHS version. That would suggest this is authentic, as far as its John enjoying himself on a long-ago April morning.
Oh it's Johnny
It's legit. Footage included in the 'I'm Stepping Out' clip that Yoko released c1984.
This version far superior to that on Double Fantasy which I never cared for. Often the way with John's demos.
That guitars in a tuning
Agree with comment below that it sounds like Macca copied it
Yep, this is the guy who left his son to fend for himself for dear Yoko that you are praising!
Zzzzzzz!
He never left him. They kept in touch for the rest of John's life.
Nessa data e ele de barba? Esse não é o Lennon...
The invention of tiktok
what are you talking about 😭😭😭 y’all be saying anything
Regardless it's a good presentation. John's beard had a different configuration. It filled the lower lip.
Bad lighting makes the face looks distorted and he had so much more facial hair. . If not for the vocals I’d say it wasn’t John.
🙄😪
What did Yoko say when receiving this video?
"Oh look, John wrote and played me a song, then recorded it on video and sent it to me.... how long should I wait to auction it off or sell it? I know, Ill auction everything Julian would want first and THEN sell this off, cause the value will be MUCH higher then!!"
Thank you so much for remembering Julian in all this. I do, too♥️
not buying the video
It's not for sale.
Oh oh Yoko you ended up with all John's money 💰, oh oh Yoko your Witchcraft is all you got now
this is not John never ever it's a fake
I think it's him !😃
Of course it's fucking John.
😂😂😂😂😂
Como o John Lennon estava feio...
This is probably the weakest song he ever wrote.
Recorded the very day Paul released COMING UP, the song that whetted John's appetite to get back to work?!? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coming_Up_(song)
It seems a forgone conclusion that John and Paul would've collaborated again if not for December 8th
@@kalani1987 I don't know. This stuff was all pre-Double Fantasy (Free as a Bird, Real Love, Now & Then). Which suggests that the cassette (with the handwriting on it) was equally old. I suspect that John toyed with the idea of enlisting Paul in the late 70s, when he was at low ebb creatively, but it didn't happen. Maybe Yoko quashed it. He found his feet later and didn't 'need' Paul at that point.
