Brother Zac, may I ask - is the word God a name or an explanation? As I understand the writer he instructed us not to take the name of god in vain - God is not His name. You can use capital G or not, it is still not His name. You preach so extensively on a relationship with my Father but I believe that by using the word God rather than his actual name makes it very impersonal. That is why people in a court of law so easily say "so help me god". Using the word god will not evoke fear. That is the problem with the Christian faith, they use the word god so vaguely, even the bible keeps using the word god rather than his actual name or names. When you say "my god" to which god are you referring? The Hindu have millions of gods, all faiths have gods.

💥Heb 4:8-11
8- For if Joshua (the Old Covenant 10 Commandments) had given them rest, He would not have spoken afterward of another day. 9- There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the (New Covenant born-again) people of God.
10- For he who has entered into His rest (Christ's finished work of commandment-keeping righteousness @ Calvary) has himself also rested from his works (attempting his own 10 Commandment-keeping righteousness), as God did from his.
11- Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest (in the finished work of Christ's righteousness), lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience (of trying to prove our righteousness, through 10 commandment-keeping).
