SRCC gbo has good batch quality but yet to attain the attention that it deserves in the job market/amongst recruiters. As per me SRCC is just staying afloat In these categories of colleges one needs to work really hard in their first job and even after that to first reach and then keep up with the tier 1 counterparts or even tier 2 IIM/IMT folks Those people will always have that "TAG" that will make things (read interview calls and job selections) slightly skewed in their favour as per the current market sentiments
If the batch is lucky you'll receive some decent non sales job. Furthermore, in that case those exceptional will have higher chance of getting through Most of the batch with no strict preference ends up in a sales role Those having strong preferences or filters need to get lucky to bag a campus job (finance/marketing/consulting/non sales or non HR) If joining, get ready for one of the following: 1. Decent paying sales job 2. 6-7 lpa role in category/marketing/sales/backend finance/backend consulting 3. Have good industry connects to get an off campus job 4. Bag a good internship and perform exceptionally well to bag a PPO 5. End up jobless and search for good jobs post graduation
@@munchikmunna try your chances at IMT Ghaziabad and DSE You should definitely try for KJ, GIM, IMI Delhi, Fore, IRMA and MICA ( IRMA and MICA I believe conduct seperate exams but have CAT hygiene cutoff in similar range) If you get an XIMB call, thats also a great college. Should get you an interview call around 90 DSM and the likes aren't worth considering at this percentile. Better drop a year and prepare well I am from DSE (MHROD) and till date have a feeling that I should have dropped and given a better attempt since the tag stays with you life long. FMS/A/B/C/XL are class apart and will stay like that forever. Not everyone is comfortable taking a drop and giving another year to prep due to multiple possible compelling circumstances. If you're one amongst them, do it from a decent bschool that places you in a decent company at a decent starting package and be ready to build yourself beyond. This will require fairly more hard work than what people from Tier 1 would have to do (to command similar roles/money/respect) but if you are truly smart, consistent and hardworking - you'll get there eventually
