@@aussiejohn5835 Hi John! Better late than never! RUclips has been playing up a bit for me lately, unsubscribing me from many channels. Seems to always be some issue. Glad you enjoyed & thanks for the comment. 👍
Bloody awesome video mate! Great to see some more city of Melbourne content! Love the truck, got the lastest tech whilst still having one of the best chassis and motor combos for the job, none of the Cursor Euro 6 bollocks here. Very smooth arm for a Gen6, no noise or teething issues on it, guess it has been pretty worn in by now though. Must've been trialled in tassie by one of the councils up north that has in-house collections, never seen it here before and Veolia and JJs wouldnt have had it. Interesting how it has the curved tailgate usually only found on the GenVs, also has the GenV auto-rev insterestingly, Gen6 one on the Euro 5s sounds a bit different I noticed. Cool mudflap set up on the back, something a bit different (for CityWide at least, though I guess they had nothing to do with it) Being a council subsidiary, I suppose signage isnt a big deal, they dont need the advertising. Easier and cheaper to leave it plain white. Cool to see some 80L fogo bins in the mix, something you dont see everyday. Probably a good idea for things like units that have individual bin setups. Awesome work mate, cheers!
Thanks Mate!! Glad you enjoyed it. I was pretty keen on getting some Melbourne footage these holidays, and it went pretty well, I’ll be back soon to document the recycling side of things. Definitely a good truck, all up to scratch with everything on offer whilst still being on one of the best chassis on the market, This would have to be one of the smoothest gen6s in the Citywide fleet, runs real well, and with a pro operator at the wheel, no mucking around, just getting the job done. I’m not entirely sure where this truck was used as a demo exactly, but another driver said it came from Tassie so I just went with that. It wouldn't surprise me if it went to other states/places in Aus. It’s a bit of an interesting truck, with the curved tailgate, especially on the newer body, the extend - a slide arm and the mudflap set-up as you mentioned, it’s not something I’ve seen before, but looks pretty cool. These features were one of the main reasons I wanted to film this truck, I was pretty lucky to get it on FOGO as it mostly does garbage and weekly unit recycle, Technically speaking this is a long-term rental truck, so that could be why it hasn’t received any branding, however they have another truck (A Merc RL) that is also technically a long-term rental that has received branding and logos, so who knows what's happening there, The other Melbourne trucks feature simple signage of Citywide + Council logos, interestingly the ex demo superior paks are still white, guess it doesn’t really matter too much, all the residents would care about is their bin getting picked up on time (which isn't very often around here haha) I’m a big fan of the 80L FOGO bins, Melbourne has all 3 sizes available for all 3 collections, I think this is a great idea - caters for everyone’s needs, especially being an inner-city location and many people don’t have a large garden or a need for bigger bins. Got another Melb FOGO video & 2 of the Garbage to put up - keep an eye out for them. Thanks for the comment! Cheers
Great video, quite like it with the morning sun!

Hi Dave 👋 I didn't get a notification for this video, and now everything I wanted to say has already been said 😢. Excellent video, well done Dave 👏 👍
