That “plastic” is fiberglass micarta aka g10 which is more durable than steel in many ways..:

Maybe durable, but still much more flexible than steel and the handles simply flex more than desired with a bali

@@LookieChannel here in the balisong community we always remove the latch to improve flipability and rely on our diligence for safety when using the knife so for many this is not a dealbreaker. It’s expected with plastic and micarta balis. And I flip almost solely plastic at this point you can trust me that with practice it is quite flippable. My #1 balisong weighs only 59g and my second favorite also weighs 59g coincidentally

If you had to give it a rating from 1 to 10, what would you rate it?

6/10, I like more other Ganzos....it quite unique lightweight, good cutting tool...but the dealbreaker for me is absence of pocket clip and very flexible handles, which results in poor lock of the latch. Would give 10/10 if steel handles and pocket clip with no hesitation.

Did you! Didn't expect that, knife laws are pain in your country aren't they? I need to be careful, need those fingers for a guitar:-D Thanks for comment;-)

Why did you deactivate the comments on your M16-03 BS video?
Seems like you got it at a reduced price. I paid full price and mine doesn't have any issues.
Nice balisong here by the way!

Thanks pal. Glad you have a better piece! It was bought at full price, not factory second, but definitely looks like one :)

      @@LookieChannel Damn, the luck.
At least you can sent it back and get another one sent without any issues, if you claim manufacturing issues.
