Animals that are rescued from the slaughterhouse or abuse appreciate their new caretakers who actually understand that animals are not stupid. I've seen rescued ducks & turkeys (usually standoffish) demonstrate devotion to their humans that rescued them too. Animals know a good situation and they let their affection show it. I love this channel - seeing how patience and love can make a difference in animal lives that don't usually get homes as pets. Thanks for posting!
While I see it too, I see your comment as a very obvious "human interpretation" tainted view. HOWEVER it doesn't take away anything really and I have ZERO doubt he is absolutely having the best of moments... well, bar the peppermints 😆
@@mimim8532 Yes, I was chill. Not much is strictly necessary but we often overdo things anyway. Humanizing animals can sometimes have detrimental effects, reminding myself and others can have a net positive influence for pets. I'm in bed, really chill.
Goats ARE companion animals - horse ranchers get them for when they have to isolate one of the horses from the rest to keep them company. I love soul-gazing into an animal's eyes. I was feeding this squirrel nuts outside my house and then I went for a walk. As I walked back, I heard rustling in the tree branches above me and I look up and the squirrel had come down to see me. It was within a arm's length away. We literally stared at each other for five minutes. It was beautiful.
That last photo of Stu and mama! They're both smiling together! You can literally feel the love radiating off of each other for the other one! Stu coming to her home was the best thing that could have ever happened to him ❤
Many years ago I bought a Nubian/Saanan doe from my neighbor. She was 8 weeks old. She was my companion since my German Shepard crossed over and the first animal after that I was able to become really attached to, so we went everywhere on walks together. They are very loving and can be fiercely protective. I love the way Stu springs and pounces all over the place!
Goats are completely underrated! We had one as a pet growing up. They're super smart, they will walk with you off leash and not let you out of their sight, then come galloping up and nearly bowl you over when you get too far away. I could go on and on about how fun they are.
Stu is definitely the largest goat I’ve ever seen. He’s absolutely wonderful. Yet another example that shows people and animal behaviour is the product of our environment. He knows he’s finally found security so he’s learned to give love back.
I rescued a Nubian goat from an auction many years ago. She was a character. Loved going on hikes in the woods with 3 humans and two dogs. Was not a good milk producer, but had great looking kids and was a very attentive mom. Truly I think she loved humans more than the other goats in our little herd. Molassas soaked oats was her favorite treat and she would let us do anything for a scoop. Glad this guy has found his perfect life with you and your family.
Stuart could not have been taken in by a more perfect human for him. they are soulmates!! Lol. she understands him, loves him & gives him the freedom to express his personality. Stuart is a literal goat but she is a figurative G.O.A.T. ( Greatest of All Time)!!!
We’ve created these artificial boundaries. Some animals we’ll eat or exploit in other ways, others we’ll cuddle. Every animal deserves respect and not to be exploited.
What an awesome goat! You have a true BFG and you recognize it. What a blessed woman you are-Thank you for sharing a glimpse of Stuart’s life with us ❣️
When I was in my early teens I got a horse. As a companion to him, I went to a goat farm where they raised babies to be sent to Boston to be eaten. I looked into the huge pen of babies and I just couldn’t choose. One jumped up and put her face close to mine and she chose me! She loved me and loved my horse and taught me a lot about “goat love”! I named her Becky after my best friend! ❤
Stuart is like a puppy dog. He's so full of life and is happy to have other goat friends to play with now. Thank you for adopting him. Now, you have a sweet and playful animal to share the days with. I think farm animals make good pets. 💞🐑
The way he looks at his mom with so much love 🥹
He does it’s adorable
It made me cry lol 😂🤪
This is why I'm vegan. 🍏🍊🍒🍓🫑🌶🍅🍎🍇
Truly something else! So expressive ❤❤❤
This loving boy goat has chosen you. He loves you so much. ❤ Truly adorable video.
It looks like Stu is smiling 😊
That's because he IS! 😂❤
Such a sweet boy! You can tell he is just loved. Thank you!

Wonderful post❤
Singer Clay Aiken had a pet goat growing up.
Well said..
Goats are not just herd animals. They have to have a companion or they will get sick. You are his leader. He is your pack.
Thank you for saving him. What a smart guy.❤❤❤❤❤
He is a character, I love it. This little one loves being spoiled and you are now definitely your baby😅
I wish anybody looked at me the way Stuart looks at his mom. He just smiles and stares into her soul. How beautiful
he does stare indeed like you say, but also as if he understands that him and rescuer-mom are different species.

Oh Stewart is just a big sweet heart.
The love in his eyes for her is wonderful! Best humans!

I never saw a goat smile like that. So cute.
That last picture....it's amazing how they weasel their way into our hearts.
I love goats. We had 4 goats as pets and to help keep underbrush under control. My kids loved them as did I. Sweet creatures ❤
What a character! He sure loves his mom.
Stu has such a wonderful personality, and so does his mom! They look very happy together!❤
I didn’t know that goats could open doors and have such goofy expressive eyes. Adorable story!
My heart broke when I read the label
"Dinner Goat ".💔
It melted and mended when Stuart gazed upon his one true love.❤️
I wasn't sure what 'dinner' goat meant at first. I thought it might have been a goat you ate dinner with.
@@DavidLS1 The goat IS the dinner.
@@HowieHoward-ti3dx Yes, I figured that out when I viewed the video.
Oh my gosh he has the cutest eyes. And i love how his mom laughs at him.

What a good boi❤
Boy*
@@OriginalMomo I know. People also use boi. If you Google it, the first thing that popped up for me was a dog being called a good boi.

Oh my God, the very last picture, mom's and Stuart's heads together, looking into the camera. Love, love, love.
You've made a goat very, very happy!
