If I remember any of my German from the mid 80's, it means "Good Day Play". Another day of more door work than lock work. Looks like a beautiful day outside.
Now was that so bad??? Lol.. Andy you made my day! Loved the commentary too. Great door and window work! Good thing you got Steve to help with the window..😬 Thanks so much for taking a moment to indulge me. You are a Locksmith and a Gentleman my Friend! Cheers
Q. why is a locksmith messing with a window? I was a door and window guy before a locksmith, $80 suction cup is what we used for that type of work. I don't do construction or handyman type work now.
It was a job for a property management company that I do some work for so I like to keep them happy. Also with my carpentry background is wasn’t a big deal 👍🏼
I had too change a Euro half cylinder bout five years ago only problem the contacting screw for the lock were in the rear of the cylinder not the side couldn't get one so I had an engineer tap a M5 x x40 contacting screw too fit at the rear of cylinder never seen of since
Oh wow!! I’ve not seen one of those either Curtis!!! But we’ll done for overcoming the problem! I’m not sure I would have the initiative to do what you did!!
@@brighton_locksmith that's what I got anyway 🤣 you going to Lock expo next week in Nottingham? Bit far for you maybe but definitely been good to have met ya 👌
Hey -- just discovered your videos. It's cool seeing some of the different hardware used in the UK versus here in the states. And haha, a bunch of the usual faces in the comments, it seems :)

@@brighton_locksmith It looks much nicer there and a lot less snow.
@@locksny No snow whatsoever this year 😁
Another excellent video!
Is there a supplier you would recommend for purchasing spare locks (for someone starting in the industry)?
Thanks mate. I would have a look on eBay and get some second hand locks to practice on buddy 👍🏼
