I'm a huge fan of loud latin trumpet and cuban trumpet playing so when this song came over the radio I immediately knew I had to write a trumpet solo for it.

Why do those fivelets have a 3 under them?
It’s supposed to be two 16th note triplets and then two normal 16th notes. Finale likes to make things confusing.

To be honest, this is probably the LEAST blasty a trumpet has ever been so that is an acheivement

It’s a Greg Black 3m with 5* Shank. I live right down the street from his shop and everyone in my area plays on them.
