As a Swiss, the fact that you put Aromat on traditional Greenlandic Whale-Skin gotta be the most awesomely hilarious thing ever. People think that Fondue, Raclette, Röschti, Watches, the Alps or Chocolate are the "Swissest thing ever", but here we all know, the Swissest thing in the world is Aromat. Tastes like chemistry-lab with salt, but almost every household has it and uses it😂 Edit to help replies: Aromat was invented in Switzerland in the 1950s by the Swiss and released here first. To this day there is a Swiss flag on Aromat sold here to celebrate the pride we take in having invented this chemical wanna-be-herb-salt. The fact that the inventors were employed by the Swiss branche of a German owned company, Knorr, under which it was released does not make it German. It's like the most iconic Australian chocolate drink, Milo, is Australian and NOT Swiss, eventhough it was invented and released by the Australian branch of Nestle, a Swiss company.
@@fallaciousjinx Yeah, but Aromat was invented by the Swiss branch of Knorr in the 1950s and became such a favorite that it started to be distributed in other countries. Until today every Aromat jar in Switzerland still has a Swiss flag on it. Anyway, Knorr now belongs to Unilever, which was a Dutch company that now belongs to the Brits, for most of the world. In Japan Knorr belongs to Ajinomoto. So best just look at where the product was invented and established first. An opposite example would be the chocolate drink "Milo" which is one of the "most Australian" things ever, although it was invented and still is owned by Nestle. Still, it's not Swiss at all, but Australian as it was invented by the Aussie Nestle branch a long time ago and released and popularized there first.

Very interesting, but a borderline nightmare for me who isn't even accustomed to what continental europeans consider seafood. Not saying it looks bad or anything like that, it looks tasty, but i sense i would need to overcome quite a bit to try it because i never had something remotely like that to eat. Friendly reminder also, not every kind of whale is endangered, the Humpback Whale and Greenland Whale for example are not considered endangered anymore. And the population of Greenland is far below 100'000 - so their consumption of these animals is fairly low. Japan has been brought up a few times in the comments, so here is another reminder - Japan has 100'000'000 people - that is far more than 1000 times the population of Greenland and unlike Greenland has soil that can grow rice which is one of the most nutritious plants in terms of calories that can be cultivated while Greenlandic soil is not at all well suited for agriculture. Although that is changing due to climate change. Third reminder - natives including the likes of the inuit and their related peoples are known for using every part of the animal they can so that ideally nothing goes to waste, while other countries have been known for people cutting off animals' horns or cutting off the fins of fish or hunting animals down for fun and no other use. So instead of complaining about the people of Greenland, maybe look at some particular Asian countries, the US and many western nations.

It can be rude when people talk poorly about other people's diet in other regions of the world. It is also because they haven't ever been forced to resort to eating the resources of the foods that are only available to that area. We are so lucky we get food shipped in from around the world and have options, but some people do forget that before this people resorted to eating what they could get where ever they lived. I agree with no reason to be rude at all , just don't leave a rude comment if you don't agree or understand someones dietary needs.
@Irina-iw5ji you can make racist comments regarding foods lol but I wasn't speaking about food only
@@kaytarracorrea25the problem is when you have people who get offended and call you racist for simply not liking something even if you don’t talk bad about it or anything extreme you just say “I don’t really care for this” I can’t count how many times I’ve been called racist for not liking Indian food
People who use racist for anything going are normally the racist!!!
I laughed so hard at the Aromat on the whale. That was so relatable! That stuff works on so many odd things. Hi from Sweden.
Especially good with eggs: boiled, fried, scrambled, no matter how, Aromat is needed.
We have aromat in South Africa :) my older sister used to love putting it on fries and eggs if i remember correctly.
Det är för att det innehåller Natriumglutamat som är svårt att få tag i rent i Sverige, men finns i Aromat.
Aromat is good on everything I’m from the Netherlands
What kind of trash eats whales? How totally evil.
Tastes like chemistry-lab with salt, but almost every household has it and uses it😂
Edit to help replies: Aromat was invented in Switzerland in the 1950s by the Swiss and released here first.
We use aromat in South Africa too and your description is spot on... it tastes amazing though
But Knorr is a German company...
Still, it's not Swiss at all, but Australian as it was invented by the Aussie Nestle branch a long time ago and released and popularized there first.
hahaha that's so true. I was like man they use Aromat out of Switzeréand now? didn't know this was a thing

You have mental issues
Thank you for saying this! I am a vegetarian and this does not bother me at all, in fact I would love to try it someday! It's the large commercial fishing and hunting that is so bad for the environment and workers.
Great comment. But climate is always changing, rather it's fluctuating. There's nothing controversial about this.

@@markeedeepthe earth’s climate has changed more in the last 150 years than it has in the last 100,000 years. It is abundantly clear to every scientist who studies climate and every scientifically literate layperson that human-caused climate change is real and an existential threat to human and nonhuman life. Greenland itself is one of the places most affected by climate change and its melting ice sheets also threaten to disrupt the entire northern hemisphere’s climate by weakening the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation.
