If you give Nigel a call from Asia and he turns up, then you'll finally know the truth. Also, don't feel badly that your father forgot your birthday, my entire family once forgot mine while simultaneously celebrating my twin brothers'.
That was humorous....you mess with your dad like I mess with my mom....she is 91, sharp as a tack, and feisty... my mom and dad were paid to date each other......by their friends who were dating each other....friends broke up, and my parents didn't... but they missed the extra spending money.
I know the name of the gynaecologist who delivered me as a baby, as he was later fired for sexually abusing/harassing loads of women and new mothers. My mother wasn't a victim though, and he was the same doctor for two of her births.
I love that Jack’s father could not remember Jack’s birth month, day or year, nor could he remember the name of the hospital. However, he remembered the doctor’s name, his attire from top to bottom and the entire conversation he had with him verbatim.
It is a hilarious sentence... but clearly he means medical expenses were no object as long as they keep to a tight budget in the other areas of their lives.
I love the visible mental battle Jack’s father goes through almost every time jack makes a joke. He finds jack’s jokes funny but also doesn’t want to be caught laughing.😂💜
it is the same how some people in America call their father Pop. Again the only country that does that arrogant fucking yanks. I am so glad Jack is not going to live in your fucking awful country.
I genuinely love that the abiding memory of the delivery of his first born child was the indignity of the very expensive gynaecologist expecting him to put on a pair of gloves and assist in the birth.
It’s from the ‘Travels with my father’ Netflix show that they do together, if you watch the first season you’ll see the whole Winston backstory (I really don’t want to spoil it for you so just watch it, it’s hilarious). Hope that helped :)
Sorry...but this is one of the best dad's in the whole world. Michael puts up with everything and remains devoted to his son. Much respect to the old pop. He's amazing.
“My nativity” is easily one of the best lines ever. The way Mr. Whitehall tells stories is absolutely delightful. I cannot tell you how much it threw me off guard at the little, “milkman” joke. Wishing you the best!
When my mom was in the hospital having my little sister, my grandma was babysitting me and my older sister. My mom asked her to have us wear the nice clothes she had packed for us for the first pictures of us with my little sister. My grandma had us help her gardening (it was really fun to help out) and she brought us to the hospital wearing clothes covered in mud. My mom was so annoyed with her, lol
Micheal Whitehall’s face when Jack starts talking about getting a DNA test, actually broke my heart a little! You can see in his face that he was upset 🖤
Love when Jack says witnessing childbirth is like watching your favourite pub burn down, and you can literally see Michael’s internal monologue going: “fuck, it was a bit like that”.
I just ugly laughed so loudly while my husband is sleeping for night shift! Hope I didn't wake him, but if I did, I would insist on him watching this clip before going back to bed! That little f/off at the end was precious!
Michael, you have my sympathy! The poor man is trying to tell a story and the smartass kid won't stop interrupting. Jack, you were a newborn! You aren't a reliable source of information.
His face fell a little when Jack started to ask about the time Nigel and Mummy may have spent together. You can tell he's trying to not show how it upset him to hear those jokes at the end, but his face gave it away a little and it was genuinely sad to see that part
@@Red-Revolution708 what's wrong with upper/middle class people. If they have money, it's often because either they or their parents have worked hard for their whole lives.
The fact that Jack can contain his naughty side in front of Michael is truly admirable 😉 I can see how Jack almost boils inside because of all the jokes in his head and because he has to contain his laughter 😄😄
just finished watching ‘travels with my father’ and wanted more of this adorable father/son relationship. Made me think a lot about my late father and how nice it would be to watch some episodes with him. I did not expected someone so classy as father W to be so funny!
Best bit of advice I heard about being there at the birth of your child is, don't stand at the bottom end, because it will be like watching your favourite pub burning down, so stand at the top end. 😂Same birthday as my son only he was born 1993. Love these two . 👌👏👏👏👏💜
I lost it at "Bottom end dentist". Pretty much any time Jack had a response to anything Michael said, I was in tears. I wish I had recorded my Dad telling about the story of my birth. I doubt it would have been as entertaining as this. Alas, no dinner jackets were involved...
Hattie Welham listen I totally get that 😂 think about it how raging you’d be if you just bought something expensive and the cashier asked you to gift wrap it or put it in a bag.. I bloody would!
Honestly you two make any day better 😂 I never laugh as hard as when I watch you both, I wish I could’ve come to the Leeds show tonight, please do another tour in future and come to Leeds again 💕
I could watch these two for hours and hours, in fact I think I do anyway ha. Makes me miss my own father but also appreciate their relationship it’s brilliant witty and heartfelt.
This Canadian Girl , is a fan , for life . Jack ,I really, really want you to take this seriously to Heart. I lost my dad at 68 , and I loved him ,but we’d drifted apart, and only saw each other from time to time. Ironically before he died , I ( don’t think it was natural either) however, he said I love you and kissed me . We had lunch ,and he was changing his will, and died soon thereafter. I want you to treasure this man , because we take so many people in our lives for granted, and I fell in love with your dad . I mean he’s the star of the show . I have never seen a father and son duo like you both before, please don’t take that for granted. Clearly there’s so much love . Keep it going, because your both increasing endorphins and lifespans here . I love you both dearly. Love from Michele,Ontario Canada 🇨🇦.
If I could choose a dad it would be have to be Michael, the things he comes out with are brilliant.. I'm non stop laughing at him every time he opens his mouth 😂👍👍👍
Travels With My Father could have been so different...
Haha Jack, no DNA test needed, you are 100% your father's son!
If you give Nigel a call from Asia and he turns up, then you'll finally know the truth. Also, don't feel badly that your father forgot your birthday, my entire family once forgot mine while simultaneously celebrating my twin brothers'.

But not as funny or interesting. We need more shows with you both in them . I wonder Jack do you worry women use you to get to your dad? 😂
He doesn’t remeber your birthday but remembers the first and second name of the gynaecologist 😂😂😂❤️
Michael Whitehall: *remembers the gynaecologist's name* - *forgets Jack's birthday*
😂😂😂
I know the name of the gynaecologist who delivered me as a baby, as he was later fired for sexually abusing/harassing loads of women and new mothers. My mother wasn't a victim though, and he was the same doctor for two of her births.
☺😊
Well, he was a very expensive gynaecologist so you'd want to remember his name for sure! To avoid going to him in the future. LOL.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 just what I was thinking!
I love that Jack’s father could not remember Jack’s birth month, day or year, nor could he remember the name of the hospital. However, he remembered the doctor’s name, his attire from top to bottom and the entire conversation he had with him verbatim.
Sexism
LOL, I mean, if I was paying someone a $hit ton of money for delivery, I'd remember the same thing. lol, but i still found it funny! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
historical
hysterical I dont know how to spell it haha
I love how unknowingly funny Micheal Whitehall is. He doesn't know his sons birthday but he remeber the name of the gynecologist 😂😂
Katie Voice he’s a very clever bloke, I’m sure he knows what he’s doing
Katie Voice
I think most of the time he knows exactly what he’s doing. Doesn’t stop him being bloody hilarious though.
He knows exactly what he's doing.
"..money absolutely no object.....as long as we stick to a tight budget" 😂😂
It is a hilarious sentence... but clearly he means medical expenses were no object as long as they keep to a tight budget in the other areas of their lives.
This is a slogan for merchandise!!
too funny
I’m going to use this 😂😂
whenever micheal says "the baby" jack looks so offended it's so funny
"Thanks daddy, question mark." Their father- son relationship is just hilarious and so sweet! And Father W is looking very stylish.
Father W always looks very stylish.

I love how posh people say “mummy and daddy” even when their 79 years old!
Yeah it's amusing, you deserve a lot more likes by the way. 😊
if i said mummu or daddy people would think i was staring in a low budget porno 🙊
For fucks sakes. They’re ; not their!
I understand now why people say I’m posh
it is the same how some people in America call their father Pop. Again the only country that does that arrogant fucking yanks. I am so glad Jack is not going to live in your fucking awful country.
Dad: “There is your mother”-
Jack: “Also wearing a dinner jacket?”
Dad: “ What, the child?”
Im crying
too funny
Rename this video "Jack realising why he was shipped off to boarding school for 14 minutes straight"
As a consolation prize my father forgot my birthday, even after we tell him my sister's. We are twins 😂😂😂😂😂
Love how Jack tries to wind up Michael about Nigel
Well - they did go to dinner while Michael was in Asia with Jack. 😂😂🤣🤣
It's funny at first, but in the end his dad seems to be taking it as impugning his mother's virtue rather than winding him up
You seriously need to have a 24 hour camera on this family, so funny and dry. Love them so much
I genuinely love that the abiding memory of the delivery of his first born child was the indignity of the very expensive gynaecologist expecting him to put on a pair of gloves and assist in the birth.
Me, too! ;'D I thought that was the best bit.
“peter at your prices” i’m crying 😂😂
Haha I couldn't agree more! I'd say my prices are 100 an hour so be sure to knock it off the bill at the end thank you!
Jack is “this baby” while Winston is his favourite son 😂
I have yet to hear the story of Winston. Was he mummy's way to cope when Jack went to boarding school?
It’s from the ‘Travels with my father’ Netflix show that they do together, if you watch the first season you’ll see the whole Winston backstory (I really don’t want to spoil it for you so just watch it, it’s hilarious). Hope that helped :)

*”You were born in quite the normal way...”* *I almost rolled off my bed from laughing!*
“with THESE PRICES you’re expecting me to help?!” SCREAMING HAHAHAH 😂💀
I love how your father scowls at your comments, yet its so evidently clear how much he loves you.

Jack is so Michaels son it’s hysterical watching them together.
or maybe he isn`t ;)

"Money is no object, as long as we keep to a strict budget."
Can we get an Outnumbered-style show about this family cause god I'd never miss an episode
He recalls entire conversations that happened on a specific date, just not on what date those occurred 😂😂

Did anyone do a tally of how many jokes jack made that his dad just glossed over 😂😂
He always does this, it makes it so much funnier. They are a great comic partnership
His face fell a little when Jack started to ask about the time Nigel and Mummy may have spent together. You can tell he's trying to not show how it upset him to hear those jokes at the end, but his face gave it away a little and it was genuinely sad to see that part
He can’t remember your birthday yet he can remember the gynaecologists name 😂😂😂
honestly want your dad to have his own show
What ? So posh upperclass twits make you laugh , you need help .
why do they need help? he’s adorable & hilarious
@@Red-Revolution708 what's wrong with upper/middle class people. If they have money, it's often because either they or their parents have worked hard for their whole lives.
I would love to hear jack’s mother’s perspective of this story. I doubt adjectives like ‘magical’ and ‘wonderful’ would be used.😂
"Mummy was by then in the stirrups...." A sentence I'll only probably ever hear once in my life :)
The fact that Jack can contain his naughty side in front of Michael is truly admirable 😉 I can see how Jack almost boils inside because of all the jokes in his head and because he has to contain his laughter 😄😄
Seeing in 18 minutes what Jack’s father had to put up with for 30 years 😂😂
.... "Peter, at your prices you want me to help with the birth" .... 🤣🤣
The senior Whitehall is utterly charming and hilarious.... what a blessing these kids had for parents! Hilary is just as lovely and so lively!
Jack's Daddy is a Comedic Genius! Dead pan @3:40. Straight faced and didn't skip a beat. Absolutely Fabulous 🙃😉🦋🕊♻️.
Michael has so many stories to tell he needs his own show, mind you I like the way Jack winds him up, brilliant 😂😂!!
They are hilarious, especially at the end. Great banter and relationship.
Jack and his dad really are just the battle within our own brains. One side is goofy and the other says calm down, stay classy!
This is AWESOME. Also Jack, loved you in "Good Omens."
Made me laugh that Michael could remember the gynaecologist name but not Jacks birthdate!!!!
These two are hysterical. No way you could ever make this up if you tried 😂🤣
just finished watching ‘travels with my father’ and wanted more of this adorable father/son relationship. Made me think a lot about my late father and how nice it would be to watch some episodes with him. I did not expected someone so classy as father W to be so funny!
A gynaecologist heading to a gynaecological dinner party...
I was expecting a joke about the doctor *eating out* that night. 👌🏻
jake whitehall trying to convince his dad that he might be the love affair baby of his mum and his dad's best friend for over 10 minutes straight 😂😂😂😂
Portland hospital that's properly upper class
Jack Whitehall and Miranda Hart should work together and play siblings.

Just watched the end of the series, really touching scene at the end. Jack is lucky to have such a brilliantly funny father plus a top mum too
I actually find myself recommending this series because of the continued word daddy and Michael's brilliance as the ultimate straight man to this show
When it comes to wind-up comedy you two are a perfect combo! I would like to see a photo of Michael at your present age!
It’s the “gynaecological dinner” for me 😂
PETER? AT YOUR PRICES?
priceless story though

I love your dad. He’s so cute! You are adorable!
Great chemistry, I'm binge watching the series. So funny! Jack is so handsome! He has this sparkle in his eye which I love.
The stare micheal has on Jack in the outro 🤣 The sheer look of annoyance SENDS ME
Jack's da reminds me so much of my own--😂 I just love them together.
Peter, at you prices you expect me to help you!? 😆 🤣 😂
June 14th 1996 is Jack's birthday according to Father Whitehall😂😂😂

Clearly, Jack won the genetic lottery--attractive, sweet, and funny!
You're father is a gem!
This needs to be animated like what Ricky Gervais does with his podcast conversations.
No. Michael and Jack's facial expressions are hilarious.
You both make me laugh sooo much love your stories
This is why your my favourite comedian 😂❤️
