My son is 3 years old he never watch tv all the day. I’ll tell you how I managed alone working in mnc and grow him without tv and mobile. Steps i take care always. 1. We never watch tv( husband and me) 2. Not using mobile infront of him 3. Take him out always for 3 meal 4. Take food +water+handkey for kid and go to parking area or park inside my apartment 5. Finish feeding food to my kid and letted him roam for 1hr post meal. 6. Take him home and play sometime along with him and starting my work and taking care of kitchen work 7. Make him sleep and repeat the same. 8. Good that you have balcony. Sometimes you can feed the food in balcony and showing him trees and brids and sky. I do for lunch because of summer in chennai Hope it helps and most importantly we dont have maid😊. My husband goes office all day.
How much ever we try putting them in high chair after a stage they end up like this.I also faced the same situation.High chair was of no use after my baby started moving.But i was very strict in not showing screen time for her especially while having food..I take her to balcony show her some birds, and read books.Even though it takes 1 hour for a meal, I am trying not to lose my patience.Despite all the efforts we put in, its a great satisfaction if they have a good meal.
When I was working in US preschool, we trained kids self feed from 9th month. We teacher not allowed to feed kids even if they need help. Seriously foreign kids are good eaters when they are growing. We Indian parents feed them in front of tv and mobile and in their toddler age complaining about they are not eating good. We must tell kids what they are eating.

Something that has helped me in this regard is a portable camera, that can be plugged in, for instance here when the baby is playing alone in the living room while you’re making breakfast. You can monitor him from your phone from the kitchen instead of the countless trips to the hall area. You can also plug it in the bedroom while the baby’s sleeping there, and you’re in another room. Hope this is of some help. Anyways, thanks for this video again, nice to know that we’re all in this journey together. More power to you. 🤍

Nice video and I’m mom of two I totally accept the meal challenge with kids ..I have 3 and 2 year old ,we are using high chair for their meal and snack time it helps you lot .. start with snack time allow him to practice finger feeding by himself.. initially it may tough but offer his favorite snacks ask him to eat and strictly turn off TV den only he can listen to his body and eat for his quantity..

This helped me a lot to distract her from watching TV while eating.. And yes.. I personally feel it’s worth every penny.. but not recommended to feed food.. rarely it’s fine.. other than that it’s really useful
