This is the easiest and best explanation here in YT! Thank you much!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this beautiful tutoril. I think the method you demonstrated, in my opinion, is the easiest method, of all the methods I have seen and I will adopt it.
You’re welcome 😊
@@printncutdesigns I have a problem. In the Photopea program, when you upload the image that you made in Canva, which becomes the background, you click on the eye to the left of the image once, and I saw that you immediately clicked again. is it true ? Then you upload an image from the computer and it becam on top of the image from Canva, and do a downgrade. The image did not fit me from the bottom of the Canva image. 🥲😪😭😭
You may have to resize the image you bring in as your placeholder to make sure it covers the entire design
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for listening
Rock and roll gonna try this
Awesome!! Hope it works well for you :)
If you're having issues with photopea and the image deleting the whole frame when you bring it back to canva - try the inkscape option in this video - ruclips.net/video/E_bhvFjrgcg/видео.html
I have always wanted to know how to do this in Canva. Your tutorial is perfectly paced and easy to understand. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!)

It's my pleasure
wow!! thank you so much :)
You're welcome!
Awesome!
Thanks!
I have trouble downloading frames from creative fabrica onto canva, so this is brilliant. Thanks for sharing. 😀🇬🇧
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you, this is so much easier than others I have watched
You're welcome!
covered everything except how to save the file to use it again.
You can save it as a brand template to use again :) Share >> More >> Brand Template
Wow! Best tutorial I have seen on this. Watched a couple other videos on this subject from people who went so fast it was hard to follow. What is their hurry? Lol!
Thank you for showing us how to do this in Photopea instead of photoshop which I can't afford right now.
You earned a new subscriber 😊
Thanks so much!
05:50 What every other tutorial fails to tell you. Your uploaded files go under Projects, not Upload. Why? I don't know, but this finally saved me. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
You can also download as a png as well I did that as well because when I used the photo it wouldn’t show up on the canvas in photopea so I went back and found another tutorial and the guy used pngs
I have another video doing it with PNG files and Inkscape for those who only have free accounts and can't download svg files. If you ran into issues with Photopea at times you could also use this method ruclips.net/video/E_bhvFjrgcg/видео.html
❤❤❤❤🙌🙏
Thank you, Rhonda! Second great tutorial-person I found tonight with faaar too few subscribers! One more here though 😊
You are so welcome!
This is the exact type of tutorial you followed and it didn’t work for me at all! I had to create a path and save it as a PDF in photopea, I’m thinking it’s because I used a png ❤
Holy Cow Rhonda - THANKS!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much. This is a brilliant tutorial. I do have a question, though. Once you have your outline do you save it somewhere or just leave it in the projects folder and remove the image each time?
I save each one in a folder named custom frames then I can easily access them when I need to. You can remove the image before saving it and then it's ready to go :)
I have followed every step, when i reached the clipping mask in photopea, my image just disappears!
Hi! Thank you so much for the this! This is the easiest tutorial that I’ve found. Does it matter what size the page is in that you place the image on in Canva?
No you can make it any size
Great tutorial. For some reason I don't have the option to add a border to the frame in Canva. What do you think I did wrong?
I'm not sure what the problem is, although I have noticed occasionally I have custom ones I don't get the "border" option for either. I'll look into it more and see if I can't figure out what the issue might be.
how did you make the clip path and what is the purpose of it?
it creates the layer that can be removed in canva and leaves you with a space you can fill with a photo.
Hi, can we use this process when using silhouette photos uploaded on canva instead of using silhouettes from canva elements?
If you have silhouettes that you've created and can save them as vector files yes, you can upload them and use those :) They'd have to be vector files - like an svg though.
I followed the steps but when I right click to select clipping mask it's grayed on. Does this happen to others? Do I need to have an acct with photopea to use that feature?
I'm not sure why that happens occasionally, I have another video using inkscape that you could use to do it. You do not need an account with Photopea
Hello I have followed every step and my image disappears when I select the clipping mask…
Try this video, we use inkscape instead of photopea. ruclips.net/video/E_bhvFjrgcg/видео.html
Hi. Do you need the pro version? I'm following all the steps, and when I try to click on the delete icon (in canva with the psd file) it deletes the whole thing, there is no option to delete just the image :(
You do need the pro version to download the initial file as an SVG yes. I can do a video showing how to do it all with the free version.
Didn't work for me either, it deletes everything
I noticed Photopea does that occasionally after I saw another comment on it. I went back and tried to get it to recreate the issue and I did, but I can't figure out why it works 99% of the time, but then occasionally it won't :( I did do another video on frames using inkscape rather than photopea - try that one! ruclips.net/video/E_bhvFjrgcg/видео.html
can be do it in photoshop instead of photopea? if yes, how to do it in photoshop? and can we make ay regular photo into silhouette? for example a photo of a lady. can we make it into silhouette
Photoshop works a bit differently when creating frames, give me a day or so and I'll put together a video using Photoshop for frames for you! Look for it Tuesday or Wednesday!
@@printncutdesigns Thank you very much
Ty for the video. I don’t have a pc. I have an iPad… are you able to do the same? If so are u able to do a vid? TIA
I'm not certain if you can or not, I've never used an ipad.
Wow I had no idea I could do this in Canva. The possibilities are, as they say, endless.😊
Right?!
