9:46 fun fact (or not so fun with the way you look at it): pandas are notoriously bad at breeding since frameless can only get pregnant around 2 days a year. Because of that the most successful breeding programs use artificial incrimination to get panda cubs. That’s why it’s such a big deal when they give birth.
When you said breeding challenge I thought it was gonna be a race but this is very interesting! I’m gonna vote on the peacock, Nile monitor, or Aldabra tortoise.
Just when I think there's no way there can be any other wacky race ideas, you tell us to hold your beer and conjure up an even wackier race! lmao! Also, the close up of the heavy breathing hydra tortoise is horrifying lol
On a scale of how much time and effort goes into the challenge set-ups, this one was one of the easiest! No heavy building/construction, but it did really take 124 in-game YEARS to breed the original parents for each of them. That was a lot of staring at the screen just waiting for them to give birth!
I feel like they should have settings for animals dying of dehydration, or starvation in which you can turn that on or off, or a setting to make feeders, not require maintenance.

I heard that panda breeding programmes have been so successful, they're no longer counted as endangered? Not fact checked that though!
@@PlasticSwans yes it has been successful with pandas only being considered vulnerable which is quite a big achievement!
I've only seen a panda once at RZSS Edinburgh Zoo, RZSS Edinburgh Zoo has 2 giant pandas called Yang Guang and Tian Tian

Placing my bets on the Tortoises... They breed like crazy and they will outlive every other animal

Haha, yep the animals sure do make some strange noises up close!!
It is a wonder you can sleep at night with such an imagination :-)
5:50 new dodrio evolution leaked 🤣
Lol
I love these competitions.
This is a brilliant concept, I cant even fathom how much effort it took to set up this scenario! Excited to see how it ends!

@@PlasticSwans, you're a hugely creative person of the Planet Zoo community
you're incredible the work that must have gone into this. WOW
I've already started breeding OG animals

3:00 now we need a Tortoise race... At least we know tortoises are gonna win that
Lol, indeed! I don't know if I have the patience!! They're so slow!
It’s like Adam and Eve but for every animal at the time of recording
Adding an extra m and e after program is reasonable
Arctic fox is predicted to overtake Gharial,Galapagos tortoise, and Nile monitor
It’s like male polar bear and male caribou wanted to mate and then die
Would these layouts be in a layout blueprint on steam? It would be so fun to try this out.
I've been asked a few times to put the layout onto Steam. It's on my list of things to do!
Looking forward to Round 2!
It's a good one!
I like these ideas
Do you have like a short age mod or something on the game? Because these animals are dying when they're still young adults.
Nope, I've never used a mod in the game
there was 7 dwarf caymans
Well spotted! Next video (up shortly) addresses this :)
Loved this!!!
Make 500 babby chalange
