手応えのありそうな相手と対峙すると期待する素振りを見せるが、結局は肩透かしを食らって気落ちするのが常。後にこうした異常な強さゆえの退屈感についての悩みをキングに打ち明けた際に、別の趣味も探そうとせず最強だからもうやることがないという理由で自ら変わろうとしない点や、ヒーローの本分である人助けではなく戦いに意義を求めている点などを指摘され、傲慢であると咎められると共に「最強ではなく最高のヒーローを目指すこと」についての在り方を諭された。すぐに結論を導くことはできなかったが、その後遭遇したムカデ長老への対応などから、キングの助言によって何かしら意識の変化はあったらしい。現在はA級39位まで昇格し協会上層部でも彼の実力の評価が一変しつつある。

Mumen rider is so dum dum, am sure even if he knows that garou is also human and the hero hunter that he would try to talk it out and reason out to garou, but garou would not care and he will get killed.
