Pubg was great game. The moment it went free to play, without hardware bans for cheating meant there are no consequences for cheating. And there are sooooo many toxic players (winners and losers) that I have no desire to play the game anymore. Good luck to those that continue. I hope you have good games.

you're just like any other weak players who's tired of losing in the game that's why. no other game is good as pubg in realistic combat fights.
PUBG is simply the best shooter game, but requires dedication an constant training/playing. Without training you will always feels that around are only cheaters, even if they just better players. From my experience, there are no cheaters in ranked games. For my friend cheaters are everwhere, cause he is lazy to train and improve his game.
So, again, a game dev company adds a lot of new features that I will probably never use to a game I started playing because it was simple. Great.

I envision the trench digging being slow. I don't see this being something you can just quickly perform while under fire. We'll see
The cheaters will dig trenches instantly and then proceed to aimbot you out of them.
Fixed the issue where footstep sounds are incorrectly output as barefoot sounds when wearing the Queen's Guard Outfit.

I wanted a slight reduction in horizontal recoil
And no, the game will not become like fortnite. You have extremely low resources to create these holes.
Should you decide to create one, you sacrifice grenades, that could be used to flush/kill enemies later.
If you get the axe, you sacrifice the slot that would normally cover your ass when having a pan.
Obviously you can keep the axe in the inventory, but it takes a lot of space.
This does the intended job. It ads strategies, but it's up to you how to deal with each situation.
Choosing these strategies won't guarantee victory.
also i assume this would take a while to make large holes, so you would want to be in circle while still being mostly alone with time to do so (at least as a solo, squads might be able to make a large trench fast)

I think they digging of terrain sounds amazing. Circles ending in the middle of open fields isn't fun at all. Digging some fighting holes will be so much fun

Funny how you can deploy Emergency Cover Flares and have massive concrete blocks from the sky in seconds. But takes minutes to wait till respawn ingame.

It might be less unrealistic if, instead of being dug, holes could be created by chucking C4 or a couple of grenades on to the ground. In a desperate situation when cover is needed, it seems silly that the solution is to dig a hole with a pickaxe... while under fire. It will probably take a couple of seconds to dig a big enough hole, which is an entirely reasonable duration for such an activity! 😉
@YaKThizzleYT Look again at what I said. The term I used is 'less unrealistic'. I acknowledged that something that is coming to the game is unrealistic and that an alternative to that thing might be less so. Less unrealistic is not the same as realistic; it's still unrealistic, but not as much. I haven't said there is anything realistic about the game.
Except grenades don't make significant holes in real life. Even small C4 wouldn't unless you bury it.
@@TheMahtimursu I'm not suggesting that grenades and C4 can produce a hole in the ground in real life; I'm suggesting that, in a video game, which is not real life, it is more credible that explosives can make hole in the ground than that a person can dig one in seconds. Again, what I've said is that making a hole with explosives is 'less unrealistic' than digging one in a few seconds; still unrealistic and not like real life, but less unrealistic.
The pick axe will be a neat addition to gameplay imo. You need to anticipate and plan where to dig accordingly. It will reward players who have the foresight to dig a defensive position well within the late circles, or even when in a pinch, but youll be vulnerable when doing so. Seems like a balanced idea to turn lemons into situational lemonade.
I'm interested to see how the destructible terrain will affect gameplay.
The pickax could be used to create a hole for a teammate to crawl to for a rez in an otherwise bad position.

This is insane! Pubg has come a long way, I been playing since year 1. I only found out about it cause a coworker got hired told me about the game
They ruined rondo with unwanted buy stations AND pillar security guards at 80% of all hotdrop locations making half the map now untouched by the playerbase. When rondo first came out, i fell in love. Was my favorite map. Now that they added all this unnecessary stuff, i groan whenever i get put on Rondo. I actually die intentionally because i dont like what they did.
... Now, we have modifiable terrain? I mean its cool and all but youre so not gonna have time to dig a hole when you have a squad of people pulling up on you. Same can be said for solos in final circle. Isnt this what smokes are for?
Until they remove the rondo markets/pillar security guards AND remove limb damage from SMGs, i wont be returning anytime soon. Ill happily spend my time playing Tom Clancy's The Division 2

I'd like to see some level of building destruction. It's going to be interesting to be able to dig out of a hard situation

I hear what you're saying about destructible terrain, but I've always been confused by this idea that pubg is all that realistic to begin with. I certainly can't see the real world from 3rd person 😂 I am also concerned if this will be easy to abuse, but really i can see this being great for unlucky field circles
The ground is destructible, but a chair, sitting in a compound, won’t budge and will severely damage your car! Hahaha

They sound make it that you need to verify a phone number on your pubg avvount and if you get banned that phone number gets banned so you can't verify that same number to create a new account. Its so easy to amke a new email address but to get a new verifiable phone number would maje the cheaters stop I am sure if it

i think the destructible terrain is good. PC should focus more on 1st person anyways. All 1st person play should be Ranked and E-Sports setting imho

Entrenching tool would've made more sense for pub g than a pickaxe
had a solo casual game last night last 2, with me vs bot Jim_Corners I think? unusual bot like behavior. Hiding in a house edge of circle upstairs like a human looking to snipe. I have a tree for cover. it waits till the blue pushes him out. has to touch blue past a wall to get out. I start nading, it runs out toward me. final takes like 60% of its health and it turns around runs away back into compound and shortly dies in the blue.... lol
Did the SMG buffs get finalized?
I thought that was only in the arcade modes

The whole dig a hole for cover looks interesting but is it like Fortnite no. They should chill out on the weapon skins and work on gameplay. If they added more terrain cover then no need for the pick axe

AKM from 47-48 isn’t that great in actuality because it used to have 49 same as the MK47 mutant damage now.48 is just a mid damage buff and not that interesting as ttk would be slightly changed.If i would buff the AKM it would be back to 49 or if crazy go to 50.The velocity needed some change too because the beryl already have 740ms and why not the AK?

If they can dig a hole against the wall and it ends up digging the terrain on the other side of the wall. You get a tunneI, but wonder what would happen if someone dug up against the side of a house or building. Will it create a burrow underneath the building?🤔
Either way, I don't agree that this would turn out like Fortnite. Fortnite requires you to destroy buildings and terrain, collect materials, and then build with those materials. This is just digging holes. I can't not think of the number of scenarios where I was stuck in the middle of a field with no cover, and wishing that I could have dug a foxhole to hide in.😂😂
But I absolutely agree that the cheaters and map voting should have been a higher priority than terrain digging.🙄
Just wait for the cheaters to figure out how to dig faster thus making said trenches etc.

AKM is not that good and back then used to be better since back then have 49 damage.47 is tiny and 48 is just mid

Funny about the panzerfaust, I juts saw a yt short of tgltn with a 20k rig and 0 ping cry like a baby because he failed his drop and other player grabbed a panzerfaust and killed him. He was transfixed and watching the replay over and over bitching like a toddler. He said that pubg should fix the panzer because it was faster than him and he didn't like it. So whenever you see something stupid in pubg its likely some of these legal cheaters with dedicated servers whining about failing and wanting the game to cater to their streaming needs like winning always. Pathetic as usual.

this feels very opinionated upon first glance. we haven't been able to actually experience it as of this moment. still 5 hrs to go at this time till we can see. my thought are to just keep an open mind. changes happen. it could be good for the game even if someone doesn't like it.

Its easier to make adjustments so ofc they come faster which intern it makes it feel like thats all there doing. Lol I literally send them videos of obvious cheaters.. Most of these cheaters have full progressive skins among other things.. So I think they're very reluctant to ban some cheaters.. I have 30 gigs of video of cheaters.. I've sent them the files and I've checked in and only 1 banned..

Over 6 years I been playing and I don't like these changes. PUBG has turned into a silly game. The skins are stupid. There is way too much Loot now. For a post Apocalyptic world, there sure are a lot of running vehicles and guns laying around. Would love to see a new battle Royal that is more realistic to the genre.
I'd rather they get rid of Tpp than get rid of cheaters.. Joking of course but tpp players are just as bad as cheaters..
