Honestly a legendary vocalist. I'm a rock singer myself, and I could never sing with absolute power and consistency for as long as Dio does. He will always, to me, be the best vocalist of all time.

@@michaellindholm2068 They say that Dio's voice was practically bursting due to the load of shows that day and this was one of his best performances in my opinion, it is noticeable some small flaws in his voice during the show but Dio had so much control of his voice that it was these flaws were almost imperceptible and he managed to masterfully deal with the physical fatigue of his voice and people almost never noticed, while the friction due to the vocal fatigue of most other rock and metal singers was always very noticeable and the out of tunes were frequent also, this happened to Freddie, Guillan and even Halford in 2008.

I’m so sad I never got to see DIO, I am only in my late 20s and DIO died when I was like 14, so I never got the chance…. Absolute timeless legend. What a voice! Thankfully I have all the albums to listen to! Whoever got to see him is truly lucky….
I believe in the afterlife and hope I will be able to meet Dio then as I have been a big fan of his since 1976: I never actually met him in life though I did see him live with Black Sabbath in about 1981
