i think it sounds like that because there's harmonies that are really low in the mix, it probably is tuned a bit though

Na man! I'm a big fan of both bands but, as a whole, Jar was a better album than Nature Nurture IMO. I'm not ripping on Nature Nurture but I couldn't listen to every track whereas Jar I can AND sing along AND bang my head.
Regardless, Arizona Waiting and White T-Shirt And Jeans are two serious jams!
