Some important points- 1. Census is more detailed. Gives regional data also, from districts, subdistricts, etc. 2. Demographic dividend is does not happen because of population growth in working ages. It happens during fertility transition- when the PROPORTION of younger population (0-14 years) declines and PROPORTION of working age population(15-64 years) grows. 3. Also it depends on what the population achieves, e.g. productivity levels. 4. Dividend is given by women, as they become more free to do economic work, as they will now have lesser children to take care of, during the time of demographic/fertility transition. Women productivity in labour market. 5. Also dividend happens when the old age people depend less on younger generation due to nuclear families. So household savings grow. 6. In foreign countries fertility rate declined when literacy rate and health quality improved. In India we did not have the luxury to wait to make women literate and healthy. We had to do policy intervention to stem the population growth. And it was a success. 7. FLPR will grow. But we need some other changes- societal, flexible time, etc.
Sir. The population control and its regulation is a must for India's overall growth. Most unprecedented race in increase population of certain religious sections by forced convertions and through appeasement causing a threat(bomb) to its existing Demographic culture.Infiltration is another headache. Therefore Census is must.
Millions of indians are getting job benefits in Qatar and send back to jndia 100s of billions of dollars every year... Every indian should support Qatar during world cup.
