It is technically possible to do it in Nascar 2005, but it you would need like a lot of luck. - If the top 11 alternated between each other in finishing results each race, with everyone tying for most laps led (which means 11 drivers with 24/24 top 11s, that would be 161.81 points on average per race (exluding bonus points), or 3,863.63 for the regular season. - 3,860 is the max amount of points you can get while missing the chase (1,145 points between you and 10th), leaving up to 1,560 possible points you can gain in the 10 race chase, assuming you get max points while the person in 10th gets 34 points a race. - But let's take this a step farther, lets assume everyone in the chase finishes in the bottom 10 spots each race, so the person with 5.050 points gets 34th, or 61 points a race. - This would leave said driver with 5,660 points at the end of the season, meanwhile you would have 5,760. So basically, not only can you get 10th despite missing the chase in Nascar 2005, you can win the championship.
and i completely forgot about the 400 points rule so nevermind, although it might be an interesting challenge to get as many people into the chase as possible
18:33 Richmond with its brown sky reminded me of Twisted Metal Black because the Freeway level features a stadium where sprint cars race each other in the dead of night. Interesting challenge btw.
An idea for this in NASCAR 2005 would be to draft with the car in tenth in the points, do everything you can to maximize their points per race, do everything you can to give the top 10 as many points as possible just so you can maximize your own points. May or may not work as their points get reset. I don't know if it's impossible but it's definitely on the "highly unlikely" side of the scale.
Kamikazegames and Michael Mrucz are 2 of my fav NASCAR youtubers! Both are quite similar. These are the examples that are in my mind. Both are funny, both got great ideas about NASCAR, make very interesting racing game vids and get pissed off at stupidity in a hilarious way lol
My friend did a challenge in the Indycar series game. Finish last in 80% of the races - the remaining races- winning but dominating. And see how high up in the standings you can finish. As we know- most races have 24 or 27.. except Indy had 33
Big mystery, does this Chase expand to more than 10 if drivers outside the top-10 are below 400 points behind the points leader? That was also a rule in 2004, so say the gap from 1st through 14th is 398. Are drivers 11th through 14th in the Chase in CFTC season mode? Also, LOL at the missing "Otherwise known as THE ROCK" audio.

I love you Richard Herman.
@@lexiwherman just a matter if they coded the 400 point rule in. Still something worth trying whoever the brave do.
@@AutoRockinRacing94 looking at this again, I think it's still technically possible with the 400 point rule

I cannot believe that this statement exists.
I am loving this style of commentary, keep this up!

My guy pulled a Mrucz and dud some eliminator racing at Martinsvill lmao

God I hate the chase just like everyone but these hypothetical videos on it are fun. Thanks KG
We might get a 20 year anniversary review of NASCAR 2005 Chase for the Cup.

I was wondering the same thing
It does
God, I love your videos man! Always brightens my day
You should play nascar heat 5 and crash in every race except the last one and win the championship
20:43
I understood that reference
3:25 I thought you could Toggle all the Pole positions off though? Idk if it actually works tho
would it be a bad idea to see how high you can finish in the 2014-2015 chase format?
More like this please KG!
Nice custom car
I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING VIDEOS IN THIS FORMAT KG!
Nascar 2005 challenge: kamikazegames loses his fucking mind
It’s technically almost possible.
I remember how bad nascar 09 at Watkins Glen at turn 1.
This game sucks.~ Mark Riggleman Jr.
4:51 no sound
The chase doesn't exist when you do a custom schedule. Cause that happened to N2SC4R's N2005CFTC playthrough
do we know why pocono was removed in 2005 chase for the cup?
Licensing issues. That's my only guess. Jeremy Mayfield isn't in the game either.
Hi Dylan Jacobs!
18:52 Truex got 2nd
Before watching I say no
