The song Wonderless to me is about the feeling of nostalgia you get from certain memories or mistakes. It's about not knowing if you can ever escape the mistakes you made in the past, not being able to escape who you are and what you've become. That feeling you get when you've been at your lowest point for so long you're numb. It's about being so sad and worthless and regretful that you're right at the point of giving up. There's little to no hope yet, you are a little sadder and older, and it feels like the ambition and dreams you had are gone. You're wonderless.
@@jeshuavega4846I joined that club when I was like 8 thanks lol 😂 but PTV didn't exist then, and I didn't see this comment till I made that reply. Ptv was my shit when I was like 15 tho lol. 💁 Miss those days.
When I feel ignored or alone, I usually go to my room and lock the door. Then I lay down I put my headphones and close my eyes and listen to them.. They've helped me through so much and I one day hope to thank them in person, because these men have saved my life millions of times.. Thank you Pierce The Veil
What this song means to me is like I don't want you to only remember me because I became famous, or because something happened and you saw me on the news and you're like "hey! I went to high school with them!" "Hey, I used to work with them.." I think this song is just reminding us to make a difference and an impact on someone in such a positive way that they don't need to be reminded that they knew you..a week ago a guy I used to work and went to high school with died in a terrible car accident, and then I heard this song...when I leave this earth I want people to remember more about me than "I used to work with her..."
Canaska Chazz That's actually a good explanation and a good meaning to this song. i think it is sad how sometimes when a band gets famous they lose how humble they were and they act all snobby. But Vic has always said that he doesn't want to become one of those artist and that is one of the many reasons i love him and all the other band members.
This song hits me so hard. I've never felt so emotionally attached to a song before. This is the type of song that you listen to after a breakup or anything tragic that has happened. This song is like a shoulder to cry on.
I went to see them the 21st of September. I had the deluxe vip, so I got to watch their soundcheck, and someone asked if they would bring wonderless back. Vic started playing it on his guitar and Mike on his drums. Vic said they should definitely bring it back. I hope they do.
There in Lubbock, where Im currently at and Im so upset that I can't go to their concert. it saddens me because I've been wanting to see them for years. They've helped me through all my troubles as an early teenager and still help me with my coping skills to this day. I just wish that I could thank them before they stop touring.
My love for Pierce The Veil is growing I can feeeeeel iiiiiiit. This band is just so *good*! I love the vocals, I love how the instruments make such amazing sounds that just elevate me to another level of well being, I love how the lyrics tell me a story, I am so happy right now!
I'm not really into the bands that most fans of PtV like (don't really like stuff like Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides, Sleeping With Sirens, etc.) but I used to and PTV was my first band in that genre. They just have such a unique and beautiful sound to me and I've stuck with them since i got into them 2 years ago.
I remember when I first heard this song still feels the same hits me right in the feels all the time this song is just gold I can't describe how much this song means to me
thats amazing how these days when a guys voice cracks when he sings is good or cute. nope music is not about having 4-6 octaves, its about how high pitched and girly you can make your voice while not being able to hit the notes. i came back to hear some PTV cause i havent in a long time, oops but now i remember why i havent, its the lack of talent. i bet if some fat 300lb guy with short hair and a beard was behind this music and had this voice he would be considered a bad ugly fat loser, but hey its how "music" works these days i guess. cheers
Jimmy Struthers you shouldnt say that to people you could go to jail for that if you live in america oh well i guess your mom raised you like a barn animal
Sky-Lynne Rose heres some real world advice, dont get butthurt for someones opinion, she likes it, its fine with me, i was just saying fact that music has changed to where its more looks than talent. and with that ill end it with this, you're young. you will change and realize that this is kids music. cause honestly itas the same shit as the "mainstream" justin bieber and one direction. but hey you like what you like. dont get sad and cut yourself, even though if you feel like shit about life, most of it might be your fault. keep that in mind, you're all alone, nobody cares. cheers
"I'm destroying what I love" I can really relate to that... I told this girl she had to come out to her parents if she wanted to be with me... I still hate myself
I can picture someone getting killed and while he's getting murdered, this song is playing and then the camera goes higher up and his dead corpse is on the ground until the scene changes to the whole city or town or whatever and then it ends with CREDITS. idk. ;_;
i cry everytime i listen to this song, literally. my friend of 2 years died from cancer and this was her favorite song. always will be my favorite song. i miss her... so fuckin' much. haley, we all miss you. never forget.
No one knows what he was thinking when he wrote this.. just because the lyrics don't speak to you doesn't mean they are bad, you just don't understand them.
My friend said this would be easy to play on electric guitar. We have to pick a song before February. And rehearse. Doesn't look too easy, but honestly a great song :)
This song is about his fuck ups and regrets, love and loss... and I can relate we all through that one perfect one away and regret it. I love PTV and my favorite song and the first one I heard by them was Props and Mayhem, it is by far their best work ever, at least in my opinion but don't get me wrong all their work is great.
this song means so much to me cause this is one of the first songs I've heard by them and it reminds me of that one person that guided me to become a fan of this genre of music and that was one of the best things that happened to me also I can remember things I was doing when I hear this song like taking a shower and walking home
i agree with you soooooooooooooooooo much!!!! i think they really do that so that you, the fan, can interpret the song into your own feelings, problems etc.
"And if you don't find me at all, then I won't care..." I fell in love with a person that destroyed everything they'd ever cared about. They went on to destroy our relationship. Part of me thinks I'd be weak enough to let him back in, but he could never hurt me that deep again. That experience changed me, and I don't know if for the better. Idk if I'd call it being stronger or just being desensitized. :/
This song is about someone dealing with the rise of fame. Their ego has got a bit out of control and the person keeping them grounded no longer seems good enough for them. They leave that person to further pursue their career. Later, they realize how much they actually need that person. There you have it, folks.

Digital Screams you dont understand that it will become an addiction very soon if you dont control it
William Paul you can't control it. The veil has been pierced. there is no going back.
Digital Screams they're havin a concert on June 20 or somethin but i know its in june and in califonia.
Krazy Otaku It's at times like these when I hate living on the opposite side of the U.S.
Digital Screams i hate that i live on the wrong side of the country for that
ptv will just always be my favorite band, like no matter what
they just hit me

This album is underrated :(
yea ikr 😞
everybody LOOOOOVES collide with the sky but forgets the better albums like a flair for the dramatic and selfish machines -_-
Yeah sadly
I think the song is about desperation to not be a failure in life and wanting to somehow impact the world, I relate to this very well
"i'm destroying what I love" relatable af
Vic's vocalizing at the end ❤
oh god. Pierce the Veil will always have a spot in my heart ❤
