Great podcast again. The thing people forget is that this championship can easily be decided by a mechanical issue of either driver. I so deeply hope it will not be the case either way, but if Lando has a DNF next race, it is almost over. If Max has a DNF, the championship is Norris's. Can Norris win all races? I doubt it. Can Max finish 2nd each race? I doubt it. I think the races will be closer. It seems like Red Bull has found something: the car was so much better over bumps than before. We have seen races where McLaren was beaten by Ferrari or Mercedes (or maybe now the Red Bull?). In such races, Norris maybe closes in by a few points, instead of the 7-8 points he needs. Also, I doubt Piastri will move out of the way for Norris. It makes sense for the team, but fans have always hated these gifted points. Remember Barrichello / Schumacher in Austria in 2002 (sorry, I'm old)? The outrage!

It’s not just engine providers, it’s engine provider who controls the contracts of your current and future drivers. Imagine in football if the gm of a team controlled the contracts of all the players on multiple opposing teams and the contracts of up and coming players. F1 is full of all kinds of crazy.

The FIA dug this hole themselves with ZERO resistance from other teams at the time. So enjoy harassing Ben and Friends for that but they're too busy controlling drivers' use of language.
The problem with VCARB/RB, is that you could add the junior drivers to the debate. Toto told Ocon to let Hamilton past in 2018 when Ocon was at Force India. Then you have engine customers. Hass and Ferrari have had their own controversies as well. It just becomes a slippery slope
Stop talking about old tyres. Two round old tyres are just scrubbed, which is just better for the start. It was a gamble which went wrong due to lack of safety car.
I think the fact that theres two sprint races in the next 3 GP could be massive if Redbulls update doesnt yield performance, if the pecking order remains the same then Norris could get massive returns, remember theres also another sprint at Qatar where Mclaren are incredibly strong

Trying to talk about why softs this and that, Lewis could have just said okay, they were going do it anyway. He's leaving, so they will just say what they are going to do, and he doesn't have the control to do anything. They've been making weird decisions with him all year.
If there is a race and a big crash it is Boo Hoo to much pace car. So when it is clean for full 200 miles then it should be good. But no people moan all the time. It dose not matter what happens someone will moan. They watch for something to wine about.
Talk of lando winning every race is fanciful. The bloke has won 3 races over 6 years. He was lucky to win in singapore after nearly crashing twice. Piastri isn't given up a win that he's earned. Zac has already said as much.
Lando wins by more than 20 seconds, and yet your take is "the car is too good and he is not doing a good enough job. He doesn't know how to lead a race." You are worse than twitter, are you proud to ridicule and put down a driver? The McLaren is a fast car, it's not a dominant car like the 2023 Red Bull, VER still has the second fastest car and he has 3 drivers selling their souls to give him every advantage whereas Lando doesn't even have one.
For an all time great max sure seems to need allot of help winning his championships. Couldn't have won his first without Perez and others in his first and now we need a sister team and a retiring Richardo. Not so sure about this champion.
I think Max’s checkmate move comes in Mexico; I’m sure he’s going to win that race and will finish 2nd in all the remaining races. Also, we shouldn’t forget that Lando was lucky in Singapore. He should have flown home with 0 points after his incident there. But sometimes, you make your own luck. The chances are high that he will crumble under pressure.
The red bull junior team talk is so needed, yeah. It's so completely insane that they are allowed to cheat like that. They have 4 cars to interfere with
There are like 7 f2 drivers better than colapinto, hes good but in his generation we have Hadjar, Martins, Bearman, Maloney , bortoleto , crrawford and antonelli. As a long time viewer of formula 2 3 and 4, these guys are atleast just as good if not better.
