Already ? That car was clean. The Blue on those Accura are very sought for
@@RiasGremoryS54 its crazy he said its a non OEM blue, I have a stock blue one of these and the colour looks identical, easily the best looking colour they come in, in my opinion

my buddy actually bought this car. watched this whole series then saw on Facebook he bought i was blown away haha
I like how he un-stanced it just to sell it to some kid who’s most definitely going to stance it right after

Well, at least it's got the subframe clearancing done.
I just did an IRL spit take reading this 😂 the realness is real
More value selling it in it's driveable state
the satisfaction of removing the sad boyz sticker must of been so good
Don't forget the "I miss you" garbage either, haha

That smile removing it definitely told it all.

It’s like a weird alternate universe where cars come stanced out From the factory and this is a build to make it special
With Hondas that's almost just how it is. Unless your build starts at the dealership, 80% of the job is usually un-molesting. I had a stock 91 Civic that got stolen, and in the 3 weeks they had it, the car was turned into a full-rice vape-bro basket case. They put serious driveway time and spent money to ruin that poor car.
I love Hondas, but so much of that community is just madness. Some day there's only going to be one clean stock EG hatch left on Earth. Someone is going to spend $1.5 million on it, and just start cutting.

It's only in America it's rare. Almost all of these are manual in EU.

This man is doing the good lord’s work out here. Ben, you’ve done a fantastic job, and the world is that much better now that you’ve corrected someone’s horrible mistake.
No mistake. There is nothing wrong with the car. It wasn’t intended for road trips.
@@halogod0298 That thing wasn't even intended for driving, which kind of destroys the point of a car.
@@halogod0298 are you brain damaged?
@@sampuhhupmas5666 no, because the new point is to be a stance car. That is the point. Wether You like it or not. And last time I checked it drove 6000 miles. Civics were meant to be economy cars, but people race them. Is that defeating the point too? 🤡🤡
@@JustinSeara No, I’m just right. And you’re just a hater
The license plate being held by one screw is the perfect analogy for this car.
It’s good to see that TSX in a more usable state. To get rid of all of those VSA and warning lights, chances are it will need a shop with Honda diagnostic software or the dealer to do a VSA calibration, and if the previous owner damaged the speed sensors, that’ll be something to replace to finally get all of those warning lights off that were caused by stancing/coilovers.
Hope the new owner enjoys it!
Yeah seems that the speed sensors are a very common problem between TSX owners. I personally own an 04 and had the VSA ABS/Warning light, and it was just that, one of my speed sensors was dead.
As a honda owner, the whole time I felt like a new speed sensor would’ve fixed those lights 🤧
Loved that you got a song to match the bpm of the hammering at 3:40. Small touch, but it adds a ton
Used to own a 2005 TSX. I miss it alot, it was a really fun car to drive and super reliable. It was built like a tank.
I used to have an silver 06 Tsx 6MT - really good car in stock form, it seemed to do everything right, handled good, decent power with potential to go supercharged/turbo. I also didn't realize how rare the manual ones are but if I could find one again for a deal I would certainly pick it up again.
I’ve got a 04 6 speed for sale in Dallas TX for 2k needs love but it’s a good car
@@yungdawzen747 “needs love” so it looked like this one before the restoration
definitely can handle boost on stock block 500hp!! easily these k24a2 are restricted from factory 188whp , all you gotta do is un-restrict them and these tsx are really fun dailys, it needs reflash ecu from hondata, headers/exhaust, cmc kit, vtc 50 cam gear, rbc intake mani swap, j37 tb swap, rsx type s oil pump, it'll guarantee to make 230 to the wheels
No Joke, I love this roadtrip series soooo much, especially the stanced one was extremly entertaining.
I just un-stanced my NC miata from the previous owner, I started with full intentions of making it clean, but after spending two days getting the coils unsized, put at the right height, and seeing the undercarriage up close, i just didn’t really care as much, its a work car, and thats all it will really be.

Love this 'reverting to stock' content. There's so many modded old vehicles out there that this'll help a lot of people out when buying used cars and wanting to fix prior owner decisions.
I owned a honda with a fully modded suspension. Not for stance, but for cornering. It sat 7in. off the ground😆😆😆 The suspension was so stiff, I couldn't drive the car for more than 30mins. before my back & spine started to hurt. Driveways & Speed Bumps were the bane of my existance😆😆 I owned it for only a year, and I was so relieved when I found someone willing to buy it off me. Now I drive an old camry that I found for dirt cheap, and IDC that it's drab & boring, I love that old scraper: Working A/C, ground clearance, and a comfortable ride. Things I'll never take for granted ever again!
Just woke up and realizing that the best RUclips channel got a new one.
this has to be the first ever video I've seen where someone undos a stance...holy hell I need to find more of these, it's sooooooo satisfying!
As a car enthousiast I can't understand why I haven't found this channel earlier.. You've just earned another subscriber. This video was nice to watch!
White with black interior is the best, and I'm glad you saved this car.
I was hoping you would do this to the TSX. Thank you for giving it a new lease on life.
Those hood risers weren’t just to help clear the hood for taller engine swaps. It was also very good at getting rid of extra heat in those little engine bays when you turbo them or build them up quite a bit. Radiators and cooling in general have gotten so good I’m not sure those are necessary anymore. Especially on an Acura as modern as the TSX.
Hood risers actually reduce engine bay heat extraction, the lower part of the windshield is a high pressure area so air actually gets forced into the bay rather than drawn out
Just made the value of the car 1000x more. I love these rescue videos! Thank you.
Bonus points for using a Crescent wrench!
So awesome to see a damaged, unusable car get repaired, that poor TSX has been to hell and back again, now it can live on as a daily driver with sick speakers. Thank you for this very satisfying content (even though it wasn’t the perfection y’all are accustomed to)

Although i like the look of stance cars, i much prefer it when good fitment is achieved when the car isn't on 10 degrees of camber and scraping the frame. Being said that I much rather see a ruined TSX than a ruined NSX.
This was a very satisfying video to watch, glad to see it made more road worthy. I owned one for six years, called an Accord Euro where I live. A car I do miss
Alot of things in this video were very satisfying to watch.
Man seeing what you went through it's nice to see the car brought back to normal. I hope whoever the next owner treats the car well. It deserves it.
that car has seen some shit. lol it's almost funny to look at it now as just a normal-looking econowagon.
My car is the same way. Looks amazing in pictures and from 20 feet but you get up close and she's a little clapped. That's exactly how I like it! I don't have to worry about it so much and mechanically it's sorted and a little ripper!
I still say you should have let Whistlin Diesel mulch those cars... 🤣🤣
This one was a goofy series, but Ben was really sick and honestly, one of your best series. I’m not a stance guy at all but the way you made this work, I think it’s your best work. It well never be your best viewed work but I think this is some of your best work. Good job boys! Good job.

Also an excellent cautionary tale for those pondering stancing.

Been there done that plenty of times. Feels so good driving a car on stock suspension nowadays lol
Do. Not. Stance. Your. Car. Thanks for this mini series, really gives insight on what to expect if you stance your vehicle
Imagine doing that to the car and thinking it looks good, thanks for saving it.
Thank you for saving this car! Feels good that it will live on another life unstanced.
TSX is my favorite car in the world, great to see it presented on the channel.
Major improvement. Nothing to be a sad boy about now
Well, i actually liked that front lip. It wasnt that bad. The tailights didnt look that bad too. Idk, I'd just leave them if it were mine.
But yeah, the stance and those wheels gotta go.
That body style of TSX was a truly great-looking design. I had an 06 6MT and it was a great ride, I wish I would have kept it. My biggest gripe was the seats and there was no plausible aftermarket (or Euro R Recaros) that would work without airbag issues.
I agree, the seats were horrible. I just wish the chassis was a bit lighter also.
Finally somebody who want to preserve the integrity of this car. The tsx is a unicorn hands down.
Ive always loved this generation tsx/accord. Sad to see what some kid did to it and how bad it was damaged. I honestly cringe when i hear a stance car scrape and the person driving brushes it off saying “it’s just the subframe” smh. If cars could talk im sure it would thank you 1000 times. Good job Ben you did what you could and the results look a lot of times better.
Subframes are replaceable but the actual frame isn’t. So as long as the actual body of the car doesn’t it damaged it’s fine.
@@FG4Kiddo The subframe is a critical part on a car, it holds the suspension, engine/trans and keeps rigidity to the body. Replaceable or not lol nothing fine about causing damage to your car for some likes on insta.
@@manlb9254 most static drivers doesn’t do it for others. We do it for ourselves because we love the look of the car. And 85% of the time I don’t even hit my subframe when I’m driving. I can only speak for myself on that part not others.
Removing so decals made me Soo happy!
You guys should do this more often, buy stanced cars revert to stock and resell. Saving the world one car at a time.
I own an 07 TSX and I get it…I love that car, but unless you’re keeping up with repairs (not just maintenance), it’s a lot to fix at once! I’ve had mine for 13 years and always kept up with regular maintenance, but I was letting non-mechanical repairs go and now that its old enough to need a bunch of mechanical replacements too (ps rack, suspension, motor mounts, etc) it’s going to get expensive fast to add the look-good replacements. Seats always rip and are on my list, bumper paint has been chipping since I bought it, a piece of the grill just blew off one day, the paint needs a re-clear at the very least possibly whole new paint job, I think a spoiler would look good, some window tint,…the list goes on. Fantastic mechanical cars, but the quality of a lot of the interior/exterior stuff is sub-par in my opinion.
Nice
So happy to see you back doing what we love you doing Ben
I knew Ben would restore this monstrosity! Lol
Thanks for the great videos G&G!
EDIT: Also the hammering being in-sync with the music at 3:35 😂
ive had a couple stance cars and many non and while its fun to have something thats so low that it scrapes on everything, having a fully functional track built car was significantly more fun. Further, the satisfaction of using the car always out performs the satisfaction of someone taking a photo of your car in a parking lot. as a side note: WHAT KIND OF PAINT MATCH AEROSOL DID YOU USE?
ok lowkey the hammering in sync with the beat is so satisfying on 3:26.
This is what happens when you “respect all builds” No care put into this car, drywall nails and Mickey Mouse ideas.
love how you synced up the hammering with the music
Still don’t know how the TSX made it all the way
Issa honda!
If you removed the one 14mm bolt holding the coilover to the fork you turn it by hand and adjust your ride height. No beating on the coilovers for hours.
Upstancing the Acura looks so much better, keep it classic 👌
Ben, if you’re going to mask up to paint, wear a respirator with an organic vapour cartridge.
A dust mask is really doing nothing for paint fumes. Wrong mask for the job.
I would have kept the wheels (but that’s mainly because I don’t like stock wheels on anything aside from steelies) and just changed the tire profile to something a little bit thicker. The one with the crack can be rectified. A nice weld with some cross stitching for additional support would fix that up.
Lastly many of the rusted stuff underneath would be replaced, so a new catalytic converter, and a new exhaust system would go on this car. The mufflers I would change for something that would give the car some grumble but not so much to be obnoxious, they would be an OEM style but just new to replace the crusty ones that were on it originally.
Since the car has the rear lip and the side skirts, I would attempt to fix the front lip, just to give it some uniformity with the rest of the stock body kit that was on this car. Clean up the interior and that’s pretty much it.
Lastly I wouldn’t have replaced the taillights. I would have just put a layer of red vinyl tints over the clear tails just to have that factory taillight color without having to go out and buy a set of taillights.
I’ve always had a huge crush on this car. 6speed k20 with full leather and gorgeous bodywork. Yet understated in a way. Was a hoot watching it donk it’s way across America, but def glad you brought it back to a classier configuration. 🖖 keep making kick ass content
actually is a k24 with a deep stoke of 99mm, the k20 stroke is 86mm
Thanks for putting one more stock-looking 1st gen TSX back on the road. They're getting to be a rare sight.
Thank you for saving this car, it looks so much better. Those 5 spokes were choice though
You needed a jump cut from the old VW ad, "Time to un-pimp za auto!" 🤣 Some high school kid would be just fine driving this for a few years.
For some reason this is really satisfying
The one thing that disgust me with this series is that they bought the WORST examples of a stanced builds. There are people out there who use quality parts and have worked done by amazing mechanics. A quick search on Instagram you can find amazing stanced builds that are beautiful inside and out.
I was literally scrolling to see if someone said this lol. I daily drive a Jetta on bags, with about 3 degrees of camber in the front. I wear tires evenly, the car handles great within reason, and I've never had issues with tires rubbing the collars, fenders, or any of that. Just do it right and do your research, you can have a fair balance of looks and functionality.
@@VanHeezey okay. But what’s the point again? Cars that are built to go fast instead of slow look better anyway. You are spending money to lose functionality and to look like a goofball.
@@snasuage looks are purely subjective. I also think fast cars look good, but cars aren’t only for going fast. If you don’t see the point, it’s obviously not for you. It doesn’t mean you’re right and I’m wrong, it just means we’re two different people with two different ideas of what looks good.

@@snasuage And what's the point to build a fast car? To enjoy it right? So same as the people who goes for stance or aesthetic mods in general.
