I think that is the same restaurant we went to when I was a kid. I remember us taking an elevator up to a restaurant and it would stop with a violent jerk. It was a totally different looking cab but this was also in the early 1970s

Could it have been Alioto's? It was located very close to here, but the elevator doesn't open outside. That elevator was still original (vintage Otis) until the restaurant permanently closed due to the pandemic.

Looks pretty vintage for a soft-touch.
The floor-passing chime is ear-piercing, though.
And quite frankly, the down chime is messed up!
