i never hated rui at the start. the moment i knew he said “bond” i felt sympathy and the feeling of relating to him. friendship-wise, i can never keep a friend or be the first choice unlike other people i meet who have a very close companion. i never really had true friends when i was a kid and just knowing about his backstory, it made me upset knowing how much i related; i don’t know what the word is when you feel connected to a character. though, i just can’t bring myself to hate him.

for your info his parents tried to kill him because rui already killed a guy or maybe one of his siblings i guess.
He really did a monstrous thing, and his parents plan was to kill rui and then suicide, it really isn't a good thing to do, but they were doing it, so as to save others.
His parents might have tried to kill him, but they also killed themselves, so i see they had no benefit doing it.
And as you know, rui killed his parents which makes him truly evil,
If he would have been a human feelings, he would not have killed his parents.
And rui wasn't truly mad like other demons at that time, he had sense about what he's doing and what it would cost, it was a completely voluntary action.

Its sad, I think the mother was good, but in pain and she wanted to die. She accepted her fate.
Watching that with my aunt for the first time made us both sad I wish there was another why to have saved her soul 😥
@@aaronatkinson177 Rui expected to go to hell but was reunited with his family at the end on some spiritual plane. Rui's actions were much horrible than what mother did, so I guess mother's soul was not damned as well.

When they ran into him, the sister demon sided with rui to betray the other sister demon who was bruttally killed by rui, slashed up and strung in his webs and exposed to the sun for trying to run.
