    So true.
    I'm 66 years old. I've had a BMI of 19 for 40 years.
    I'm 5'2" weighed 110 for 40 years.
    But have now developed several abdominal hernias.
    Scheduled for surgery but not able to do ANYTHING.
    So frustrating and borderline depression..
    Anyone who can relate??

    Hey Marcus. Big fan of your channel. I was wondering if you ever had exertion headaches from training as hard as you do. I recently started getting them and it’s very frustrating! Any tips to avoid them?

      Yes i have. They were connected to a strained muscle in my occipital and upper trap region. It took time for that muscle to heal

    Shouldn’t you eat 1 gram of protein per pound that you “want” to weigh ?

    • @marcusfilly
      @marcusfilly  7 месяцев назад

      Not necessarily. You want to be eating on the higher end of the protein spectrum especially if you're trying to challenge your fat loss. Protein will help you stay full and avoid those sugar cravings.

    I feel like grams per pound is a little misleading. For yourself being very low body fat it does make sense, but for someone with 50 pounds of additional fat on their frame, it makes little sense. Prioritizing grams per pound... of lean mass, I believe, is more accurate.

      Grams per pound of lean body weight makes sense if you have a lot of fat to lose.
