I feel like it's difficult to stockpile corpses because they rot. It ends up working against you because you have to find the right corpses at the right time and at the right place for a chance at some karma.
honestly once you have established yourself in an area and know which corpse are new, where other players are, and have a big enough den, karma is pretty easy to get
Exactly. It is actually almost imposible to get even 1 karma. You need 2 for another creature. If it loses players, then its its on the difficulty. Not that i want it too, i actually like it a lot. But they should lower it to AT LEAST 6 karma per storm instead of 7.
also only attack other players if they are actively a threat to you or you want to steal their den. Attacking players gives little reward and only makes them come back to murder you
The struggle is real. (I have been stuck as the white lizard for almost 3 days straight, and i got only 1 karma, but lost it cuz i died :sob:) bruh im about to quit, this game dosent even let you change your vessel man, i wanna be a scavenger bro predator gameplay aint for me
the only scavenger currently is the vulture, and I really don’t recommend it. during my first play through I was tired of being a orange lizard and wanted to be a vulture, so when I finally got some karma after several failed attempts I got a new scavenger vessel vulture is extremely hard to survive as to say the least, let alone get karma with, since it’s hunger drains EXTREMELY fast during storms and it’s too big to fit in most holes. it can eat rotting corpses but most of the time you’re unable to hoard enough food in any cave before the storm because vulture can be a bit slow while flying, even while diving. the only way I was able to get more karma past scavenger is by using the lizard I had. fyi I’m only saying this so that you don’t waste your karma on a bad creature
Oh I alr made that mistake lol bit for me it's easy to survive as a vulture turn yourself sideways to get into caves but as soon as you're in reverse then pull the body in, I have every creature in the game and vulture was one of the hardest to play with then I got used to it
You have to eat food to get your food points up (forgot which button), I also recommend storing food but that's hard since food goes rotten pretty quickly in this game.
The game is so hard is not even funny, if hunger drops so fast than we should get karma for evry storm we survive no matter food count and at 5 karma like this new lizard should unlock, but who lisen to me
Idk if it's any easier now then 7 months ago but as of currently i find the system really fair and fun, I've survived up to 4 nights with full hunger pips by managing food.
When you spawn in immediately get your food pips to 8 and then search for a body and take it eith you until you find a medium den then gather all the bodies around the area until it starts to rain then just bunker down in the cave I recommend at least 4 bodies or 3 if you alr got some pips or 2 bodies if you stumbled across a dead vulture body

I just eat all the corpses i have after the storm ends and get new ones via scavenging and hunting other players.

I find it really fair, i survived 4 nights in a row with full pips. You just have to know how to manage resources correctly.

If you keep eating past the 4 food pips you will gain more. (You have a total of 8 food pips you can fill up.)
