I was born 1990 and now I am 33. I started to love Nora and her songs since I was 10 years old as I heard her voice for the very first time from our neighbor's radio. Then I started being obsessed with her voice; saving my allowances just to afford buying her cassette tapes and CDs and playing it every day and night into our radio. I remember her tapes and Cds are not available at record stores here, then I go to radio stations just to record few of her songs available there paying ten pesos per song. I am lucky now because I have all her songs stored in my smart phone and playing it most of the time.
I think I am the youngest male Noranian of this generation.

Wow! The Superstar, Nora Aunor, is indeed an icon and a legend! Thanks for the upload, ngayon ko lang napanood itong farewell Superstar Show. It’s just what I needed, a wonderful nostalgic trip down on memory lane! I remember when I was an awkward teenager back in the late ‘60s, anything Nora Aunor was my source of excitement and happiness and I’m always looking forward to Wednesday nights for her Nora Cinderella drama anthology and Sunday nights for the Superstar Show!
It’s amazing that watching the show now and seeing Nora makes me feel like a teenager once again, especially seeing her with Pip, may kilig pa rin! Truly, Superstar Nora Aunor is one of a kind, a class act, timeless and her star will shine forever! I wish I could see all Superstar episodes as I was only able to watch until March 1980 since I left the country the following month.

Kaya masaya kami tuwing linggo. We even send letter to RPN 9(1979,1980etc)and they answered us.

Beautiful tribute I will never forget this and I just wished they would collect all her Superstar shows and convert it to Hi-definition so we can continue watching it over and over again. Jeff last song something that goes "tatanda tayo at lilipas din tayo" is a perfect song for aging Nora. She a legend that will never die. Miss her voice.
