Played 3 casual games got killed by turn 6-7 every time and could not figure out how to get more cards are draw the combo. I feel like RUclipsrs are making this deck for views like look I did 350 damage but they don’t tell you how many games they had to [lay to finally get that to work to make a video to show you 2 match ups where it worked. Instead of me killing my opens by turn 6-7 I am dead by turn 6-7. I’ll never play a deck like this because it’s not fun. You play hearthstone to have fun and stressing about getting a certain card at a certain time and just sit there while your opponent bashes your face in is so aggravating
This deck is not easy, and if the goal is to win, this is not the list to be playing. Another video will be coming out soon about the good Owl Druid people are playing at the top ranks. But there is a lot to learn with this deck. You don't take the same lines every time, you need to keep specific cards for specific match ups, and you have to react a certain way (saving swiped for key turns for example) to not die immediately. ll explain this thoroughly in the next video.
After playing like 20 times of your old owl deck I can say that most of the times it is still ok to draw the minion but you need to have 2 owl. and I just realize that sparkling phial also discount your minions too lmao, so lets say if you manage to get 2 eonar and 2 owl but u dont have enough mana to play both of those cards say you alrd have 2 location active, 1 owl, 1 eonar, then u can just play phial > another eonar > refresh mana and so on.
After trying both this and the dragon variant, I can say that the dragon varient is better. You have more control of you draws and board presence with dragon package. Mini chia drake works well as cheap spell damage and protection vs dirty rat. This version (almost always) auto lose if you draw owlonius the "wrong" way. There is a new version of this list that runs 1 copy of cover artist and Gaia (droping 1 innervate and 1 woodland wonders or both woodland wonders) as contigencies when you draw eonar/owlonius "wrong".
I actually hated your other version 😆... I had like 5 to 15 stats with it lol... It was way too restricted to one specific combo, if it failed, it was over. No way of coming back. This version of the deck at least has some recover mechanismns 😆

Who would've guessed that the deck that only has 1-3 swipes as a defense dies on turn 6-7 on casual

It’s a high legend deck. Pros get it to work because most decks there are highlander so you have time to get the combo
Its not a Deck to play at lower elos, you need time to set up and at lower elos they will face you and shit on you, but it is a fun combo to pull off

The issue with this deck is it just folds to any aggro, it needs to play vs mid range and control decks it stomps them but aggro dominates this deck.

Dragons are the way in my opinion.
I gave up on this deck bc I kept drawing all the minions and I said fck this ish
That's always my experience with this type of decks.
