Great analysis…when your operating costs are too high and your first instinct is to raise prices on content your fans have loyally supported, maybe you need to rethink your business.
Everyone just doesn't like Subscription Models or is getting tired of them.
I personally don't think the subscription model is the issue. It's about the product that I get for subscribing. What value am I getting from the subscription? Truly, It's the subscriptions to the services that are not the "Netflix's" and "Hulu's" of the marketplace that are actually helpful, the ones that actually add lasting value beyond mere entertainment. Subscription services that help you work more efficiently and save you time in the long run, for example.
How can you see the dislikes?
Also, people don't like Steven, he's a christian, the son of a pastor and he drives a Tesla, so people aren't fond of him asking for money, also there were people saying he is homophobic, personally I was not a fan of his but I didn't know all of this. I'm still not a fan, somethign strikes me as odd, but I do hope they all learn from this.
