I don’t think we should get rid of Howell. Brisset is not your normal backup, he is pretty much a starter on quite a few teams and he is a smart vet. Of course he will come in and show his talent. Howell did not deserve what happened to him this season. Because Jacoby showe a second of great play when all is lost we forget the grit, toughness, being forced to throw 50 times a game with no protection, and that he’s pretty much a rookie on the team with the worst defense. The coaches need to go Bieniemy included. I’m sick of our fans wanting instant numbers and wins. We need the right pieces and Howell is the right piece at the most important position in the game.

Give Howell the time to assess the defense and let him play. Howell is very tough and is a gamer. He has the arm strength to get the ball down the field. If he isn't the QB, then 2025 draft your QB. You will now have an OL in place, with playmakers, to crank up the offense. Getting rid of a QB essentially playing his rookie year (I know he is a second year pro - only started one game last season.) Anyone remember how terrible Peyton Manning was his first year? Worked out pretty good for him after that disaster........

A win would not have been a Christmas miracle it would have been a disaster just to add 1 more win on Rivera's ledger. We would have definitely felt it in the draft, like when we had to settle for Jamin Davis when we could have easily had Micah Parsons.

How many completions and yards would Sam have had without the drops and slips? Sam may not be the guy, but it's more important to build this team than it is to draft a QB. Kelce and Hill was on the roster before Mahomes was drafted. The same can be said about Tampa and the Rams. Build the team first!

I mean he traded up for a long snapper and then spent all of the top order draft capital last year building roster rotational depth at tactically inconsequential positions and selecting running backs over and over when they are 2 a penny whilst smartly traded away all the high performing first round draft picks. Occasionally we got a decent QB for a few years in their career like Jurgensen (who was on the bench in their SB loss to Miami) or held a career QB with Sammy Bough but that was when the QB role could lead a season in yardage with less than 3000 yards.
