Hannah Telle is such a Sweetheart. She's so honest and Kind, she's like a sunshine that shines regardless of the rainy days she lived through or just because of that she shines even brighter. I really want to see her again in more Acting Roles but I get that it could be very frustrating, the constant rejection without knowing what went wrong, but I hope one day her talent and dedication will be appreciated. I'm happy that she found something that makes her happy again and I'm exited for the new music she makes in the future because I really like her Voice. Life is Strange is hands down the best story driven game of all time. Max Caufield is an amazing, interesting character, and Hannah's voice acting was incredible.
I really love Hannah. Its really cool that she opened up about all the stuff that she did after doing Life is Strange. And her music is hella good. I was also really happy that she chose to save Chloe over Arcaadia Bay!! And I really liked her idea about where would Chloe and Max's story will continue and that they would be in a band. And she's right there are some Dark stuff in music and they would try to uncover the mystery. I also would like to see more Pricefield moments and to see their relationship grow. But I really am hoping we do see Chloe and Max return in Life is Strange game cuz they're awesome and they deserve to be happy. 🦋🦋🦋 Adan thank you so much for interviewing Hannah its was hella awesome getting to hear from her and what she's been doing. Hannah Telle is such a sweetheart! She sounds exactly like Max and I love how she's so protective of her! I love her beauty and strength especially for opening up on her mental health and how she's found her own world within the LiS fandom, that story of when someone in her music class whispered to her "are you Max?" is soooo sweet and funny 🥰 I did not discover Life is Strange until last Summer and it hella shaped my life, such an extraordinary innovating game with a spectacular story that unwinds a rollercoaster of emotions. Max & Chloe are just iconic characters for me, Pricefield forever! 💙❤🦋 In the pending upcoming tv series adaptation of Life is Strange(we should get major developments from DJ2 very soon) my main choice to play Max Caulfield is Daisy Edgar-Jones, British actress who has a very identical appearance and psychique to the Polaroid pixie hipster. Joey King, Mackenzie Foy & Oona Laurence would be good calls for the role too. I'd say Emma Watson is more suited for Victoria Chase although Anya Taylor-Joy would be perfect imo. Hannah is so cute, I love her. I want to see more of her in the future. And I feel the same way with Max, she was my favorite character and that's the reason why I couldn't play Before the storm, without Max I didn't feel so drawn to the game.
I wish you could interview Dani Knights (Victoria's VA). It doesn't seem like she did any interviews about the game at all, which is weird since she had quite a lot of screen time throughout the episodes.
I’ve only just found this interview now, but it’s phenomenal. Max Caulfield was a character the changed my life, the entire game did. Hannah Telle was a big part of that, her performance is incredible. She IS Max Caulfield, and I’m so glad they never recast her in anything. It’s heartbreaking to hear about Hannah’s experiences after the game, and how life hasn’t been too kind to her. I wish her all the best for the future, she totally deserves more work, she’s such a talent.
I didn't even know this game existed until last month. It connected with me because well it's a long story lets just say i'm someone who lives in the past. Not like reliving moments more like a part of me stayed behind. I have always had this nostalgia type of feeling it's something I feel on a daily basis. This game made me feel that but also like I lost my bestfriends when I finished it a few days ago. I saved Chloe so to me they moved on. I'm moving on to the comics and LIS Before the Storm. Just to continue journey. It's weird hearing Max's voice but you can tell it's not Max. Yes, Hannah plays Max but they're 2 different people. She did a great job capturing the personality of Max. Amazing job!

Max Caulfields inner dialog when viewing an item is such an underrated and difficult voice acting job. No other character in dontnods games so far have gotten it as beautifully as hannah telle with max
Gonzalo's inner voice for Sean was really uninteresting in LIS2 and Rhianna did fine as chloe in Before the Storm, but her inner voice was cringy and nothing like her normal one. By the time tell me why came out, there was no more inner voice parts. Even when the twin isn't with you in game. Cause nobody can do it like hannah could

I think not knowing where or how or why Max got her powers is so much better for the story. It makes Max both entirely responsible for, and yet completely innocent of, all the consequences from the use of the powers.

I really like this. Quality production, did not expect this to be honest, but pleasantly surprised. If I can give you a pointer though, I would like to see you react to what the interviewee has said. For example when Hannah spoke about she wanting the producers to dive more into where Max's powers came from, I really hoped you would ask more about her reaction, like for instance What her guess would be on where her powers came from or what her opinion was on Chloe not having powers. If she liked that fact or thought it was a missed oppurtunity gameplay wise.

I think it was a momentary lapse in concentration on my part, especially as I tried to follow through with additional questions where and when I could in other parts of this interview. If I'm being honest with you, I was really nervous at the beginning of the interview. I've done interviews for the better part of five years for print and online publications. But this is my first time being on camera for them and this episode and also the second one -- mainly because I recorded that first -- I felt a little self-conscious about doing something new like this. You're right, you can tell I'm more relaxed as the interview is going on, but I do place a high expectation on myself to produce the best interview I can -- and sometimes my mind starts wandering on that trail of thought rather than keeping focus. @@Player1vsTheWorld I totally get your sentiment regarding seeing this as 'your baby making it's first steps' type of thing. It'll probably feel similar to me releasing my very first solo EP soon. I mean I've been working on this for months on end and want it to succeed, but on the other hand, I myself am not going to look too much into number of listens or number of people buying my music. I think it's similar with your production in the sense that I feel since you are so emotionally invested in this, having played the game and deciding to create this format. I'm sure just like you I will be looking back on my release and seeing all types of things to improve on after hearing it the first time. I also enjoyed how fragile Hannah was in this interview, it was so genuine and informative in the sense that I did discover new things about her life, which is what an interview is all about. So once again, well done. Looking forward to episode 2 already.

I can tell from your comment that you care deeply about the project and that will show through and through in the EP. And yes, I think that's the best way of looking at it! Hannah Telle created such a genteel and unique character in Max. Her voice/performance is what helped bring it all to life. 19:57 Max is the singular most important character in this universe: she can change past, present, and future. Technically, she’s a super-hero. I can see why Hannah may have felt that Max was left out of Before the Storm, but it’s important to remember that she would have affected the entire story if she had been there. And I think the writers wanted to be able to tell a different story without the super-powers present.
After seen LIS 2's episode 5 I'm really crazy for a LIS3 with her and Ashly! It would be amazing if she could also sing something! All my love to her, she seems such a beautiful person!
Great Interview! I like the fact that you talked about music but what I miss the most from these Interviews with the cast is the mentioning of the great Soundtrack since it's really adding a big part to the emotional side of it. I for example can't listen to certain songs from the game without being emotionally touched. I even avoid the song "Mountains" by Message to Bears" because I instantly hear Chloe s desperate crying and screaming over Rachels death. Knowing that Ashly really broke down and cried for real during the recording makes it even worse for me. Other songs on the other hand make me really happy :) So yeah maybe that's a good Idea for a future Interview. A little chat about The Soundtrack.

There was one or two questions we had planned about it, but we had to cut it from our list (only so much we can talk about, especially in 40 minutes. But we could easily have talked for hours with Hannah about Life Is Strange's soundtrack). Oh, and Life After Strange isn't all about actors as you'll start to see. Well I strongly agree with Hannah, because, for my opinion, she gave everything for dubbing Max in every situation like anger, sadness, happiness... Hannah and Ashly made me laugh and cry in the first LiS and in the bonus episode in BTS, so I think that nobody has to change with them
Even after years there are still LiS related channels popping up...wow... Seriously I have never seen a game (except maybe old "classic" ones or huge triple A titles) which has such a lovely fanbase. God, there's even multiple people on youtube who really got into writing and producing music just because of this game. And that's all for a reason. Even as someone who's not into games that much I gotta say LiS was a life changing experience.
I played LIS enough times that I look like a weirdo. Seriously I played the hell out of it. I always thought it was weird Hannah didn't get more work because I thought it was really good how different her REAL voice is than Max. You can tell its her but it is also a totally different voice. The reason I am making this comment though is Courtney. WOW I NEVER picked up on that and that is extremely rare. You always hear the same voices in games and you always realize who is who but I NEVER realized Courtney was Hannah too. The guy who does Jefferson is in so many other games but its just his normal voice in everything.
Like she said, she is Max and will ever be Max in the Life is Strange world. Hanna is a wonderful person and I wish her nothing but the best. Gonzalo Martin will always be Sean and Roman Dean George will always be Daniel. I know Roman's voice has changed as he has gotten older and it would not be a problem for him to voice an older Daniel. Life is Strange is in a class all to itself. So nice seeing and hearing Hanna Telle again.
One Question Adnan, you reference talking to Hannah five years ago, was that another podcast or something? If yes, which one? Is it still online? 'Cause I have listened to a loooot of that LiS fan content over the last years.
I actually had questions for Hannah. what do you think of the idea of Rachel being the spirit deer leading them to her body? I think it's a good idea especially with the idea that Rachel was happy they found her body but sad as well because when they found the body the deer sadly looks away and fades hating that Chloe is so sad. and also, would you ever want to make another life is strange revolving around max and Chloe.
I think the answers as regards the powers and their origins is still to come. Dontnod should not have added the powers if the game was supposed to be self-contained. Now the 'sequels LiS2 is here-they need to bind the stories together into an overall arc. Max technically can still go back and save the timelines with Rachel,and save Chloe too.
May seem narcissistic and selfish, but if one of, if not the best thing you’ve ever done in life that is JUST YOURS is given to someone else, then you wouldn’t be so happy about that. I’m glad she came back as max.
I'm kinda glad but sad that Max isn't coming back because on one hand this character has suffered so much and shouldn't be put through more but on the other I really wanna see max again
There is this online service called galaxycon where you can do virtual meet and greets and autographs, she should really do one of those sessions, i don't think any of the actors realize what kind of impact they had. Also maybe galaxycon can help her find more roles possibly, she is too great of a talent to not be doing any roles!
And i have 2 sugggestions: 1th: Please open any forum or Email etc. where the players also know send questions, what You ask for him 2nd: This talks please translate more languages, and be more language subtitles. Sample: I'm from Hungary. I'm in talk only a litle bit understand Eglish language. But very good idea this show, big respect! I was going to crying under this talking! LiS & BtS best game of the wold!!!!!

I didn't even know this game existed until last month. It connected with me because well it's a long story lets just say i'm someone who lives in the past. Not like reliving moments more like a part of me stayed behind. I have always had this nostalgia type of feeling it's something I feel on a daily basis. This game made me feel that but also like I lost my bestfriends when I finished it a few days ago. I saved Chloe so to me they moved on. I'm moving on to the comics and LIS Before the Storm. Just to continue journey. It's weird hearing Max's voice but you can tell it's not Max. Yes, Hannah plays Max but they're 2 different people. She did a great job capturing the personality of Max. Amazing job!

It's crazy that Maxine Caulfield is the voice actress of Hannah Telle.
Max Caulfields inner dialog when viewing an item is such an underrated and difficult voice acting job.
No other character in dontnods games so far have gotten it as beautifully as hannah telle with max
Gonzalo's inner voice for Sean was really uninteresting in LIS2 and Rhianna did fine as chloe in Before the Storm, but her inner voice was cringy and nothing like her normal one.
By the time tell me why came out, there was no more inner voice parts. Even when the twin isn't with you in game.

I think not knowing where or how or why Max got her powers is so much better for the story. It makes Max both entirely responsible for, and yet completely innocent of, all the consequences from the use of the powers.

I really like this. Quality production, did not expect this to be honest, but pleasantly surprised. If I can give you a pointer though, I would like to see you react to what the interviewee has said. For example when Hannah spoke about she wanting the producers to dive more into where Max's powers came from, I really hoped you would ask more about her reaction, like for instance What her guess would be on where her powers came from or what her opinion was on Chloe not having powers. If she liked that fact or thought it was a missed oppurtunity gameplay wise.

If I'm being honest with you, I was really nervous at the beginning of the interview. I've done interviews for the better part of five years for print and online publications. But this is my first time being on camera for them and this episode and also the second one -- mainly because I recorded that first -- I felt a little self-conscious about doing something new like this.
You're right, you can tell I'm more relaxed as the interview is going on, but I do place a high expectation on myself to produce the best interview I can -- and sometimes my mind starts wandering on that trail of thought rather than keeping focus.

@@Player1vsTheWorld I totally get your sentiment regarding seeing this as 'your baby making it's first steps' type of thing. It'll probably feel similar to me releasing my very first solo EP soon. I mean I've been working on this for months on end and want it to succeed, but on the other hand, I myself am not going to look too much into number of listens or number of people buying my music. I think it's similar with your production in the sense that I feel since you are so emotionally invested in this, having played the game and deciding to create this format. I'm sure just like you I will be looking back on my release and seeing all types of things to improve on after hearing it the first time.
I also enjoyed how fragile Hannah was in this interview, it was so genuine and informative in the sense that I did discover new things about her life, which is what an interview is all about. So once again, well done. Looking forward to episode 2 already.
@@DjDarkD, totally agree. I understand where you're coming from, but I'm 100 per cent sure that EP is going to be at the high standard you think it is going to be. I can tell from your comment that you care deeply about the project and that will show through and through in the EP.
And yes, I think that's the best way of looking at it! I was kicking myself when I watched this episode down the line and realised I missed out an amazing opportunity to ask Hannah a question I think fans would have been really interested in. But it's one to learn from.

Hannah Telles a real life Angel! shes so kind and gentle a true cinnamon bun.
Hannah Telle created such a genteel and unique character in Max. Her voice/performance is what helped bring it all to life.
19:57 Max is the singular most important character in this universe: she can change past, present, and future. Technically, she’s a super-hero. I can see why Hannah may have felt that Max was left out of Before the Storm, but it’s important to remember that she would have affected the entire story if she had been there. And I think the writers wanted to be able to tell a different story without the super-powers present.

Great Interview! I like the fact that you talked about music but what I miss the most from these Interviews with the cast is the mentioning of the great Soundtrack since it's really adding a big part to the emotional side of it. I for example can't listen to certain songs from the game without being emotionally touched. I even avoid the song "Mountains" by Message to Bears" because I instantly hear Chloe s desperate crying and screaming over Rachels death. Knowing that Ashly really broke down and cried for real during the recording makes it even worse for me.
Other songs on the other hand make me really happy :)
So yeah maybe that's a good Idea for a future Interview. A little chat about The Soundtrack.

There was one or two questions we had planned about it, but we had to cut it from our list (only so much we can talk about, especially in 40 minutes. Well I strongly agree with Hannah, because, for my opinion, she gave everything for dubbing Max in every situation like anger, sadness, happiness... Hannah and Ashly made me laugh and cry in the first LiS and in the bonus episode in BTS, so I think that nobody has to change with them

Even after years there are still LiS related channels popping up...wow... Seriously I have never seen a game (except maybe old "classic" ones or huge triple A titles) which has such a lovely fanbase. God, there's even multiple people on youtube who really got into writing and producing music just because of this game. And that's all for a reason. Even as someone who's not into games that much I gotta say LiS was a life changing experience.
I played LIS enough times that I look like a weirdo. Seriously I played the hell out of it. I always thought it was weird Hannah didn't get more work because I thought it was really good how different her REAL voice is than Max. You can tell its her but it is also a totally different voice. The reason I am making this comment though is Courtney. WOW I NEVER picked up on that and that is extremely rare. You always hear the same voices in games and you always realize who is who but I NEVER realized Courtney was Hannah too. The guy who does Jefferson is in so many other games but its just his normal voice in everything.
I never realised this but hannah looks a bunch like ashley iohnson(the person who plays ellie in last of us 2
Like she said, she is Max and will ever be Max in the Life is Strange world. Hanna is a wonderful person and I wish her nothing but the best. Gonzalo Martin will always be Sean and Roman Dean George will always be Daniel. I know Roman's voice has changed as he has gotten older and it would not be a problem for him to voice an older Daniel. Life is Strange is in a class all to itself. So nice seeing and hearing Hanna Telle again.

One Question Adnan, you reference talking to Hannah five years ago, was that another podcast or something? If yes, which one? Is it still online? 'Cause I have listened to a loooot of that LiS fan content over the last years.
I actually had questions for Hannah. what do you think of the idea of Rachel being the spirit deer leading them to her body? I think it's a good idea especially with the idea that Rachel was happy they found her body but sad as well because when they found the body the deer sadly looks away and fades hating that Chloe is so sad. and also, would you ever want to make another life is strange revolving around max and Chloe.
I think the answers as regards the powers and their origins is still to come.
Dontnod should not have added the powers if the game was supposed to be self-contained.
Now the 'sequels LiS2 is here-they need to bind the stories together into an overall arc.
Max technically can still go back and save the timelines with Rachel,and save Chloe too.
May seem narcissistic and selfish, but if one of, if not the best thing you’ve ever done in life that is JUST YOURS is given to someone else, then you wouldn’t be so happy about that. I’m glad she came back as max.
I'm kinda glad but sad that Max isn't coming back because on one hand this character has suffered so much and shouldn't be put through more but on the other I really wanna see max again

There is this online service called galaxycon where you can do virtual meet and greets and autographs, she should really do one of those sessions, i don't think any of the actors realize what kind of impact they had. Also maybe galaxycon can help her find more roles possibly, she is too great of a talent to not be doing any roles!
