    Good job making that bottle work man I would’ve been pissed all that leaking ,I grabbed a 60 dollar coolant funnel with radiator cap/expansion tank fitting for multiple brands after doing my timing belt,ended up not getting my valve cover set correctly after getting the timing belt on and starting the car today a bunch of smoke came out near the driver valve cover had me wondering who shit my pants

    I have no idea what you did to the 2 liter bottle to make it fit in the coolant system filling tank and how you took it out . Sure would have liked to see that part in this video.

      I just cut a 2 liter in half and to make it fit in the overflow housing I had to use electrical tape to make it fit snug.

    Thank you bro, very helpful 👍
    Can you tell how much coolant you used?
    I saw that your airbag light was on, mine is probably a defective airbag sensor too, what was it with you?

      2.5 gallons and then top off the reservoir with the rest.
      Airbag light was on cuz the aftermarket steering wheel.

    I’m having the same issues after replacing thermostat 1990 LS400..overheating. How long would you say it takes to fill before burping ( spillage)

    • @lukeaintlow
      @lukeaintlow  2 года назад

      you can just keep filling it up until you see the fill plug cannot take any more coolant

    • @lukeaintlow
      @lukeaintlow  2 года назад

      I say just fill it up as much as you can until it starts spilling out & try to burp it and then top it off again.

    just went to O'reillys and bro gave me the wrong coolant. The system gave me the green universal 50/50 mix instead of a red or pink type like you explained🤦‍♂

    Good but you are soooo incorrect with the nut size its a 14mm not a 10mm, and its a real c... to get at. But at least you pointed us in the right direction as to where.
