山鉾巡行だけでは無い勇壮な祇園祭りの始まりに⛩️観光客が驚きと大歓声です🏮お神輿の先触れの「お迎提灯」の行列～大松明をかざして神輿の道を清める「道しらべ」～お神輿を鴨川(宮川)の神事用水で清める「神輿洗」の様子です＝
This is the beginning of a heroic Gion festival that is not just about Yamahoko parades ⛩️ Tourists are surprised and cheering 🏮 Procession of "Welcoming lanterns" heralding the arrival of the mikoshi - "Michi-sirabe" where the path for the mikoshi is purified by holding up a large torch - The mikoshi This is a scene of ``Mikoshi Washing'', where a shrine is purified with ritual water from the Kamogawa River (Miyagawa).

お迎え提灯🏮は、ヒョコ姫達が、可愛いですえ、市役所前で芸能披露されて、また八坂神社に帰って来て舞台で披露して、ヒョコ姫は暑いのに頑張って舞っていますえ、うちら祇園の芸舞妓も、後祭に登場しますえ、花笠巡行に他の花街のお方も、暑い中頑張りますので、見に来ておくれやす。💇🙅
