Looks great! I still prefer the humpter since I can do turntables or controllers without needing separate tops. The downside to that is that you can’t prewire or transport with the gear in. Great review, I appreciate you reviewing this piece of kit and posting your thoughts on it
I really like this booth, and i really want to invest in one. I think i really need something that i can rack my mics since i would use this for my sweet 16 and weddings or corporate events. I have a chrysler Pacifica, so i really better get the height to fit before investment. I will be at the DJ expo this year, so i hope to really compare my options. Also, the turntable setup looks fantastic but i opt for the rane 4 nowadays (old age), lol Thanks, Daryl, for sharing this video
Definitely my favorite looking booth. Practicality is the main reason I can't get it. I just pulled the trigger on the new Danny Max Console S, it has a similar aesthetic, but much more mobile flexibility.
I love this booth and have been trying to decide what style of booth to have with my Rane setup. The only thing that I don't love about yours is how the actual rane setup isn't centered due to the control one. I love that it is integrated into your booth but the turntables and mixer off to one side would drive me crazy.
Yeah that was the compromise, have the control one outta the booth with a ton of cables connecting it the inside, or this off center look. Personally, I'm happy with the way it turned out
I definitely think this is the best looking furniture booth out there but how hard it is to transport also with how you can’t put much other basic gear in it (mixers and mic receiver) just makes it a deal breaker for me. It’s definitely the best looking though! Nice review!
Thank you! I love the Bunn gear command center, I’ve owned a couple and I’ll be sharing my thoughts comparing the stereo t, Humpter b3 and the Bunn gear 3 Years Later - Bunn Gear Command Center - DJ Booth Spotlight ruclips.net/video/R-v90vAAIGo/видео.html
I've never owned one, but I've seen it, and it's definitely decent! It actually is too small for a rane 12/72 combo, but would work for smaller gear, like the Rane One. I have the Humpter Booth, and will be releasing a comparison soon
Like I said before. I both love this booth and hate it. It looks so good and have gotten quite a few bookings thanks to it. But it's so unwieldy to transport and handle that I now only offer it at a premium so that I can bring an assistent to help carry it.
I feel like your average mobile DJ should be able to get by with just an SUV. Having a fully loaded DJ booth ready to roll in and out like that is always going to be limited the few people who can afford to have a tall van or pull a trailer, God knows it's awkward enough and impractical to get around in urban environments with those.
A trailer just doesn't work most of the time in Urban areas, so a tall van is required. I've seen some rent u-haul vans, but I'd rather just use the SUV I already have 🤷
It’s the main reason why I’ve never wanted to get a trailer. I can also use my SUV to travel with my kids to do other things with it as well, so it has its advantages
@@DJDarylBennett gotcha, I just looked and I think I saw what I might have heard. Stereo T will get shipped to the US but nothing else. I have a Stereo T now and love mine. All the reasons you mentioned do hold true. I leave mine assembled and I did have a custom road case built. I have seen many DJs though just do a dolly and moving blankets like you did.
On the topic of that clear computer stand, for someone like me who has bad eye-sight it looks like it's too far away. I feel like i would be squinting at the screen all the time just to read artist and song names. And i would have to reach across the entire table and have to arch my back every-time i need to type of something. I think other booths with a mobile arm accessories permit a more functional placement and adjustment on the fly i you need it.
That is true. I think this is the best looking computer stand, but not the most ergonomical. I wish the Denon 6000m had the style of the Rane 12, then I wouldn't even need a laptop lol
I like the Stereo T (& the Humpter or whatever its called)....but sure as hell aint paying 5K + (inc shipping) to Melbourne, Australia for either of them....& there is no place in Australia that either makes somthing similar or distributes Hoerboard products
Love the look of dj furniture, but I’ll stick to my controller flight case, table and facade for the rest of my career. Simple, cheaper, and more versatile.
You can just order a new top plate, which is what all these sunken booths offer, like Max, Bunn Gear, Pro X offer. Or you can even make your own if you're handy
It looks great but for a mobile DJ it's not very practical at all. The couple of DJs I know that use it always wind up using a facade & table behind them for their audio and lighting equipment
Thank you for sharing this insightful review! Your expertise and passion for DJing truly inspire and guide us all.

And you can mount a TV on the Humpter! Haha

A LOT more mobile flexibility lol It does look pretty cool

Awesome video, great information.
Thanks man, thanks for watching!
@@DJDarylBennett great info for us taller DJs 👌🏾
Any comment on a BUNN BOOTH that allows you to carry the sections in bags and has rack mounting for gear to stay in place all the time. Nice set up!

OH WOW!! IS THIS WHAT NORMAL PEOPLE FEEL LIKE?
Great video Daryl
Hahaha thanks man, much appreciated
Its $1382 US, so its not a bad price, how much was the shipping and VAT fees?
Have you tried the ProX XZF-DJCTW control tower dj podium? Their Humpter booth also seems decent...

If it’s making you extra bookings, then it’s definitely worth it!
Dammn it look so clean in white
🙏thank you

Daryl, I had heard that David wasn’t shipping to the US anymore. Do you know if he is back to doing that again?
I ordered this in February, so idk if that's new. I did see on the website that he's shipping to the US

Nothing wrong with that! Functionality it works great. My one thing is that I want facades to be a little lower so that hands can be visible
@@DJDarylBennett bro, absolutely! Always thought they were a bit tall

It’s too expensive.
Yeah it's pretty expensive and there's other more affordable options that are clean
@@DJDarylBennett any suggestions of more affordable ones?
