Hmm, I really dunno if this is progress. Weight, cost, dull ride at city speeds, complexity, lack of aural drama. I wonder if the typical buyer is after a track weapon.
Its most certainly not progress. We are watching the devolution of cars, turning them into rube goldberg machines that no one will bother fixing when they inevitably go wrong. A strung out high powered 4 cylinder with a complex electric motor and battery system? What a nightmare.
Still hate the way Mercedes just lazily slap a tablet screen on the dash and call it a day. It's so cheap looking and ugly to do so. Many other manufactures mould the dash and instrument cluster around the display screen, why can't Mercedes? It looks like some kid in a back yard slapped his iPad in there and called it a day. Anyway the way these performance cars are going with a lack of soul, sounding shit, hybrid junk and electric motors with hefty weight. You may as well just buy a pedestrian model and have more fun either buying/building a full on race car for track days or for many just build an amazing racing sim at home with proper hydraulics and have much more fun than this junk. I predict this AMG will be an extremely poor seller as most buyers of these type of cars actually want the V8 sounding engine.
Well....what exactly is the point of it? It's slower than a Tesla, more complex as an ICE or EV which will make it a nightmare to fix/maintain, it probably can't be tuned for more power, it's weight will mean it will destroy tyres and brakes on a circuit....there's almost nothing good about it aside from it's looks.
Ummmm if you’ve owned previous merc or Bmw you’d know that the screen inside a mould looks and feels out of date… have u seen older models that have that type of dash? These new full width lcd screens look so much better than the inbuilt dash. Just look at Audi with inbuilt dash … looks so last generation. Current a8 vs latest merc and Bmw with wide screens, Audi looks old and out screened and looks last generation … even virtual cockpit looks old.. Especially if u owned in dash digital dash The dual large screen looks refreshing in comparison ….

Benefit is that it has an increased security system. Nobody wants it.

Nice Camry bro.
Love to know what the range of this car is? As fast as an EV
No V8 sound, no fun. Can't even use all that power on the public road, just cruise around, the V8 sounds better than any 4 cylinder will.
If you still want the v8. You’re over compensating for something. 📍
"difference is a Toyota Hilux can't do this...." Presses on gas. Makes the same sound as a Toyota Hilux............
Hahaha, very true.
All of these “journalists” are compelled to say good things about this shitty car. Their stay, food and travel is all paid for. So Bmw M3 wins this !!
Yep, all bought and paid for. Fake journalism.

Agree. Lets hope sales of these crash and burn.
