I didn't know either. It's basically a 500 just a different safety and forend. Look up an action slide tube assembly for a 500. Make sure its 7 ¾ inches. I'm going to post a link below from mossberg. It's out of stock right now but other sites have them. If you look under the spec section, it even states it fits the 88.
