omg yes... I was in shocked when I watched this when I was 6 or 7 since most of the story in main story is goofy and wasn't depressing. However, this OVA left me such deep memory that I might forgot some of the story but not this OVA. But actually the second half of the Mashin Hero Wataru 2 was somewhat depressing as well.

ロボットアニメで珍しくロボット（龍神丸）がタイトルじゃないアニメでしたが、この作品で救世主ワタルの物語だと分かりましたね
それだけにその後のシリーズを見る気になれない...(´･ω･`)
虎王シリーズを見守りたかったのに社会人になって見る事をしなくなってしまって今頃見てるのだけど、このOAVの続きの井内秀治監督の小説で魔神もいないような中世ヨーロッパみたいな世界に行っていた虎王は最後はどうなったのだろう？( ･᷄-･᷅ )
