Thanks Justin! as usual great video. Can you also create another video in your spare time On (Deep Dive into How the Computers Works in Configuration Manager (SCCM) ... same what you have done for site servers ... Like looking log files and where the files are location on client's
Hi Justin, great video. Was checking the notes on the video for a link to the excel doc and verbose enable script, are those available somewhere? Thanks again 😁
Are the endpoints directly communicate with primary server ? How is the frequency? As clients will send the data through MP to primary and while client installation if the primary is down what happens.
@@PatchMyPC thank you for quick reply. Primary server only communicate to client while client push/notifications right. Need a suggestion on following:we are planning to host the primary server and Sql server on azure and remaining site system roles on on-prem. As we have different regions and they don't have network connectivity between them but all are connecting to azure VPN gateway azure. Our main concern is security, how safe we can open the ports between onprem to azure datacenter and vice verca, ports like 135,445. How about remote admin console connections, remote sql connections etc. How we can pulish the sites to AD site as each region have their own on prem ad forest, how we can configure discovery methods. How about redudendency options. Thanks in advance.
Great video, but please don't adopt his use of the word of "thread" for registry keys and everything with it. Threads and registry keys could not be more wildly different. The registry is essentially a database for your computer and how it should operate. Threads are essentially sequences of steps that happen on your computer, with or without user interactions. Threads running in processes can and should reference registry keys during whatever they do, but are otherwise totally different. Otherwise, a nice video.

Clients will contact the management point for nearly all communication not the site server directly.

Glad you enjoyed it
Great one Justin, can we get the excel sheet? I do not see in the attachments
It should be in my post on setupconfigmgr.com
Kindly upload the video to upgrade sccm 1909 to 2010 in details.
I already have a video covering upgrades
