I remember this Series.....No Warner, No Clarke, No Smith, No Starc, No Hazlewood but still the Second String Australian Side Captained by George Bailey gave some tough times to the Full Strength Indian Side especially James Faulkner.....All Thanks to the then rising Indian Top Order who were meant to dominate One Day Cricket for the next 5 Years......Pace Bowling wasn't up to the mark except for Bhuvneshwar Kumar....Later Mohammad Shami also showed some calibre......The Indians were forced to play 2 finger spinners due to lack of quality pacers and depth in the Batting Line-up. The New Indian Cricket Team with an admirable pace bowling line-up which consists of Bumrah, Shami, Siraj can give nightmares to anyone and relief to the fans like me who grew up watching Indian pacers getting trashed all around the Park.
Starc was injured, Smith wasn't selected for the odi, clarke was recovering from injury, Warner recovering from joe root punch incident and Hazelwood did make his odi in 2010 but came back 4 years later. Clarke and Smith were rested for the ashes. George Bailey did awesome in this series and was selected for the ashes for his fantastic performance in this series

Those days before 2015 wc..our odi bowling sucked .as Zaheer Khan retired ..it was from 2016 that our fast bowling starting to be lethal again ( shami, Bumrah, Bhuvi , Umesh , Ishant )
